I've done private conversations with flat earthers several times now.

After maybe ten minutes I get them to trap themselves, where there's a clear contradiction between what they're claiming at the current point in the conversation and what they claimed at the beginning.

They do a complete 180 in conversational style when I point out the contradiction.

They go from our specific conversation over a specific phenomena to trying to throw out as many buzz words and excuses as they can, before finally disengaging and usually blocking me so I can't induce any more cognitive dissonance.


This guy just disengaged though, so I'm not totally sure if he's actually a flat Earther, or just somebody who isn't very smart trying to decide whether he should or shouldn't be a flat Earther.
