Would a 15% ias gem in my helm get my assassin to a higher breakpoint for dragon talon?

My build: https://maxroll.gg/d2/d2planner/i0us0yoz

I've seen the DT breakpoint calculators but I don't understand the results. My question is with using fade, not burst of speed.

dragon talon is a sequence of multiple attacks. the first number of the calculator gives the duration for the first and intermediate attacks, the second number of the last attack

also note that only the primary weapon speed modifier and the primary weapon ias are relevant

So in the above linked build, the greater talon in the assa's right hand which I assume is the primary weapon you refer to, has a weapon speed modifier of -30, the fastest possible for claws, and 20% attack speed from the mosaic runeword. Are you saying that those are the only two numbers that affect DT attack speed? I could stack lots of ias on my gear and use burst of speed, and it wouldn't affect DT's attack speed?

The equation provided in this reddit thread - https://www.reddit.com/r/diablo2/comments/9zfu9j/question_about_dragon_talon_kick_ias_breakpoint/ - suggests that my EIAS in the above build is 60, and that putting a 15% ias gem in the helm will bring my EIAS to 67.71, putting me in a better breakpoint. Is this in agreement with what you have written?

I think I've got my answer from https://forums.d2jsp.org/topic.php?t=83282797&f=87&o=10

TL;DR yes a 15% ias jewel will improve the initial kick frames in the above build from 8 to 7 frames. Ty for your help.

Edit: Nope actually it seems a 15% ias jewel won't change any DT frames whatsoever. Without the 15% jewel my EIAS is 47.14, and with the 15% jewel my EIAS is 57.09. An EIAS of 63 is required for the next inital kick breakpoint.

ofc off-weapon ias counts as well, just wanted to make you aware that the mods on the second weapon does *not* count

ias breakpoints are 2/5/18/46. the first three are already met by 20ias from the weapon, for the next one you need additional 26 from gear
