Hi guys, I am currently running andys w/ ral, cv eth insight, and treachery on my a2 might merc for horking and wanted a merc that can survive to help with clear speed. What is BIS or top options so this arabian foo doesnt get clipped almost every time? Thanks!

My best experience was eth guardian angel, kira's guardian, and ebotd war pike. Eth reaper's toll is probably better, but it will cancel out any other effect and of course shatter corpses, which you most likely don't want. He can still be overwhelmed by physical attacks, which is where you must use war cry to stun them and hope the boss members are stunned.. war cry works 10% of the time on them.

Appreciate the response. After looking into eth GA this seems like a plausible solution. Will give it a try as its not too expensive before exploring the other ideas. Thank you

Scrap the Merc altogether if you’re using a Goldfind Barb. He’s too annoying to position and keep alive/wait for.

Throw on a Grief and use Berserk. You also get to skip enigma which saves on cost.

Much faster clear speeds, minimal difference in Goldfind, if any.

i just use botd / wealth / cot ...
got my barb using 2x ali baba's and other MF/GF stuff and i just leap around ... even TZ is piece of cake ... merc never dies

edit: u also never get dmg if u leap around ...

BIS for survivability is probs ebotd + eth GA + CoA

Doesnt shatter bodies at trav, has life leech.
Trav elemental damage is usually what kills the merc. But also have 15 to 31 DR on the CoA depending on what you socket with.
