its not negligible when you're using ethereal chaos or fury!
You can't use ethereal non-rep/indest claws without leaving out blade shield. And its honestly not a loss.


if you use it, it will eventually break your ethereal claws, whereas blade fury/sentinel will never ever remove durability

Don't you have huge AR issues with the Blade Fury?

The claw mastery AR does nothing for you on BF, so what is your true AR on this girl?

no idea, but this was mostly blade sentinel focused, and it *does* boost blade sentinel
as well, both skills get a passive and invisible +base ar bonus, something like 20 per level, I forget

Rule of thumb is that blade sentinel will hit anyone, with even maybe 1/3 or more chance against those defensewhore smiters, and 80%+ against everyone else, whereas blade fury will have extreme difficulties hitting smiters, hammerdins, and barbarians, but does just fine against casters. You really need to get people running to hit them with blade fury.

That's news to me. though I've not built one since the new tests were done on the skills taking BF from a 1pt wonder to a max and +skills kind of skill. Do you have any more details on that?

On which part? The +skill damage is added exactly like +min/max damage, except not reduced by the penalty
As far as AR, I'm having trouble looking up blade fury

Blade sentinel gets +5 ar per skill level, thats the number.

From what I can see, it doesn't look like fury gets a hidden bonus. Fury used to actually be "always hit" in 1.09 when blade sentinel always required a hit check, which means its likely the programmers completely forgot about blade fury using AR in 1.10 and put it in by accident- it doesn't display your AR in the char screen, uses wrong return for claw mastery, etc.
