So honestly I rarely use the facet option. Really if matched against an opponent who barely hits max fire resist you can use facet armor and flicking flame to drop their resist under max to really hit hard. Works better in pubs or sva as most sorcs in svs use 10x20/11 and are stacked over. Blizz sorcs do struggle with max fire and light resist at the same time against a fire sorc using ts, so in svs this is the best example
