Griefs setup has 50% crushing blow (is this "almost no" ?).
Grief / Death setup has 75% crushing blow (50% + 100%).
Both let you hit 5 frames per attack with an act2 mercenary, providing either +605%ed (Might+Pride) or +260%ed/Decrepify (Might+Reaper's), instead of +144%ed from a faith mercenary.
And as you said, you don't get Decrepify on every monster thanks to Lawbringer. Maybe against act bosses, but it's such a pain to switch weapons continuously that you won't use them very often.
You must understand that crushing blow alone doesn't kill anything. A little less CB and a little more damage may result in Ubers/DClone killed faster. It also provides more leech (since life/mana leech don't work with CB).
Your guide is well written however, and very self-consistent. Congratulations on that, and thanks for sharing it.
You forgot 1 point Leap attack / 1 point Battle cry, in your skill allocation (both can be very useful).
And finally, since you claim that this is an offensive build (and you're right, it must be), I don't understand why you don't suggest to invest more into strength.
I agree using a grief lets you hit the 5 frame breakpoint with an act two mercenary, and this lets you use pride / might. If you play solo non stop this is a good route to go. I play in a lot of players 8 games ( almost all my games) so the monster health pool goes up dramatically letting CB really do its magic. In public games a concentration aura is not hard to come by either, so if you are doing lots of chaos and baal runs you might find the pride being wasted.

I'll do a dps comparison of grief vs edeath a bit later when I have time - I'd imagine that the difference is not going to be huge between perfect rolls - Grief having higher damage per hit, but less CB and DS. Assuming that is correct, dual griefs will almost certainly be slightly slower for bosses like ubers (by maybe 1-2 seconds), but a bit faster for regular mobs where CB is less valuable - unless of course the health threshold requires a DS to 1 hit KO. I'll let you guys know.
Also - he did address the strength issue - I would personally put a bit more strength over dex for pvm but once again, I haven't run the numbers yet so can't be sure.
Incidentally - can I just ask about that character screen you posted - what did your inventory contain? If I filled it with 10/76/45's and 3/20/20's, how bad would the AR be? If AR is a serious problem, the Ignores Target's Defense mod on grief's would be nice for clearing out zones.
My inventory has what i listed. 4 grand charms with ar / life ( about 130 ar each gc) and 5 sc's with random amount of attack rating i found. if you fill your inventory with 10/76/45's you will get the same amount of attack rating roughly ( maybe a bit more since i only use 4 gc's not 5) but that leaves no room for drops. I like to have room to pick up alot because you never know when that eth rare weapon you pick up will be a godly pvp item. In single player games some mobs can be 1 shot but not all, i find doom knights depending on the rng on damage can be 1 shot (players 1 for the 1 shot).
edit: this is meant to be a semi budget build for ladder, so coming by 10/76/45's is a challenge.... a 120-120 ar gc with no life or a bit of life is not, and they are extremely cheap. This build to make costs an ohm, jah, 2x vex, 2x gul and a Lo rune, everything else is very cheap.
