But if you get slowed, you won’t hit the necessary ias BPs. Thus immensely lowering your damage output.

Arach slows
Clay golem slows
Holy freeze slows
Decerep slows
Nosf coil slows
Cleglaws gloves slows.

Etc etc.

It for sure is bad for 102 builds.

It’s mostly a non issue for 65 builds.

Sooooo they totally changed everything about ww. It check both weapons at 4 frame on first attack so chaos still off hand?; burst of speed viable for hitting max frame through debuffs (decrep/attacks slow/holy freeze) because they effect now?+ cannot be frozen must now. Big dick warfist with maximum possible damage a big deal now? 102 fcr seems foolish unless you are pure trapper now.

So I was testing ww a lot last night. I don't think holy freeze actually slows frame rates down (Tested with a pally in game).

Additionally, short wwing definitely works now, where you can have bursted intervals of ww actually hit.

I don't know about frame rates with IAS on gear, because I have IAS on my claws and gear, so I didn't have a great way to test without IAS on my claw and only using it on my gear to hit break points.

I think keeping chaos as the off hand is still the right move, and using your fury/eth cruel/fools/plague as your main would be the meta.

Big dick warfist is probably the way to go if someone can confirm IAS on gear works.

Ghost should Have always been using Warfist except vs zons.

Slow and freeze are lowering WW frame rates.

Which means in 102, you won’t be able to use war fist anymore, unless you have an erep war fist, with a 15ias jewel in it and 40ias base.

With war fist, don't you only need 25 ias to reach 4 frame ww? Perhaps 35ias to deal if 10% slow from arach. Can you elaborate on why you're suggesting 55ias now

Patch 2.4.3 improved Whirlwind for Barbarians and Assassins.

1) First Hit Registry
2) Short Whirlwinds possible
3) Cast delay reduced
4) Whirlwind Skill hidden change (baseline -50% ed (+8% per level) to baseline 30% ed (+5% per level) and a bonus of 50% ar)
5) Less desynch

The only sad thing is, that blizzard fucked up the Whirlwind IAS / FPA a lot. It is very difficult to reach the max. possible ww speed of 4 FPA again now.

How to check dual wielding Whirlwind FPA:

1) Open the link: https://warren1001.github.io/IAS_Calculator/243
2) Choose Class
3) Choose Primary Weapon (Weapon 1)
4) Choose Whirlwind
5) Add "Slowed By" or/and "Chilled" optional, if you wanna check the influence of slow effects
6) Check the table for needed IAS (Weapon 1 IAS + Gear IAS) to reach FPA
7) Write down / save the reached FPA for Weapon 1
8) Choose Primary Weapon (Weapon 2)
9) Add "Slowed By" or/and "Chilled" optional, if you wanna check the influence of slow effects
10) Check the table for needed IAS (Weapon 2 IAS + Gear IAS) to reach FPA
11) Write down / save the reached FPA for Weapon 2
12) Calculate: (Weapon 1 FPA + Weapon 2 FPA) / 2 (if its .5 then round up)
13) The result is the FPA for both weapons

Example: FPA 1 (4) + FPA 2 (5) = 9 / 2 = 4.5 -> 5 rounded up -> Both of your weapons will have a 5 FPA Whirlwind
FPA Illustration: 4 FPA = 6 hits per second | 5 FPA = 5 hits per second | 6 FPA = 4 hits per second

Note: The calculator for whirlwind as a barbarian or assassin is correct, but some other features and minor bugs gets updated in the future!
