1) 102fcr isn't strictly necessary
2) You can swap gear vs. Cold dmg as needed, many matches won't
3) yes, a claw which meets ias bp is standard

What is the consensus on mind blast in 2.4 for pvp? Is it advantageous to have + skills on your claws and/or put hard points in over 1? Have the meta pvp mods on claws changed? Also can someone please tell me the mechanics of dragon tail? How is it calculated ias / procs on strike etc. What works What doesn't based off mainhand AR or not? I'm slightly noobish on the pvp and asn skill mechanics side and I wanna grow up to be a pro just like you 😂🤙

I just made a trap assassin using a 40 ias main hand i havent jeweled yet
but using a plague offhand and it feels I am max lay speed

(i can test this with a 15 ias jewel) but idk if anyone has done this already

Offhand is no longer used for trap laying speed calc whatsoever. Mainhand + ias from gear excluding offhand.

you didnt understand the question the offhand base doesn't matter and everyone understands that. But Ias from other parts like an IAS jewel in your helm could be used to hit the breakpoint. My question was simply did the y make the ias in the offhand matter now.

An erep claw you can 15ias jewel it and reach 42 is for GT/RT.




According to 2.4 patch notes, offhand wsm no longer affects trap speed. Wouldn’t be surprised if blizzard fucked it up tho. Also you could test if offhand +ias goes towards total ias number needed. I doubt it does tho.

No, it doesn't, otherwise chaos offhand would be too stronk and pretty much negate the need for off-weapon ias or MH jewels
