to answer your previous question, yes i have done ubers with the grief/edeath setup, use my mercs treachery to prebuff fade, as well as a demon limb for chant, and wore marrowalks for lt with lots of res charms and my best resists + life leaching rings

iirc the death setup very similar to the other max damage frenzy barbs gear wise
max frenzy and all it's synergies, some remaining points go to bo, add vita as needed?
similar gear but 2x death ba and infinity merc, 2x lacerator switch for amping

according to my most recent calculations, 2x berserker axes need 95 ias from eq to get 10fpa frenzy, but can get 11fpa with about 30ias
it is possible to make death in other axes that have different wsm's, i will do calcs for those later and post them here

i believe the calcs are correct, they match some other calcs i've done in different programs, but if anyone see's any mistakes in those calculations, please tell me, im an engineer not a mathematician, and i didnt take linear algebra <_< so matrices aren't my strongest suit, thank you

I don't play hardcore.
Questionable internet connectivity, d2's old servers, pker's with hacks, and some other reasons make it only fun to play untwinked with friends, not something I would ever spend too much time looking for gear or bother using fg on. Softcore is more for those of us who like to kill the most monsters the fastest on the brink of survivability, you build your character with as high damage as possible not with as high survivability as possible.

By all means a hardcore player could use the information in this guide to build a frenzy barb according to their liking. I tried to write it as a guide, not as a 'use only this equipment' 'play only as i play' 'there is only one way to make this character' sort of bullshit. As you can read through, other users have posted their ideas on what they like to use or do or play.

short answer: yes
reason: i haven't died since they took away IM :(

Is ok on hardcore but with no block got to be careful of physical monster, can get unlucky with bad mobs, like unlucky rolls on seis pack etc ;)

Last question for Majin, does your merc survive in uber trist? I am currently using the dual death ba and enjoying it and have no problems with no merc but haven't been to uber trist yet. Is the merc a nice touch or a key piece? Thanks for the help.

i would say in ubers the merc is a nice touch. it depends on how you play whether or not he will live, but chances are he wont. you won't want him procing decrepify when you are trying to keep them lifetapped either.

Hi ya...
What items would you use, if you were going to do the following Skill setup?

Skills: In Order
20 Frenzy
10 Battle Orders (up to max last)
20 Weapon Mastery
... Note: going for more Attack Rating first, also gaining like 5% ed per skill point at the same time
20 Berserk
... Note: using this as a measure to counter "Physical Immunes" without using reapers on merc
20 Double Swing

01 Pre-reqs / Natural Resistances

I would use the same eq as specified. probably dual grief pb since the higher physical damage would convert to more magic damage than a grief/edeath setup. since no curse to remove PI, CB would be null against them, and the -50 poison res would make that venom do a little more too.

20 berserk was what I did on my original frenzy barb, I like it a lot actually. not having to drop all your defense to kill the PI succubus and blood lords you find in wsk3 makes things a lot easier. but do note that these points do not increase your total damage, it only converts.
