Ok, so I'm thinking about making one of these for lols xD and I have a claw with +2 blade sentinel/ +1 blade shield, would an eth claw with random mods be better than this? Or would it be about the same?

the only two claws that are worth using at all are fury or chaos in an ethereal suwayyah
not even +3 blade fury is worth it in anything else.

I've heard some people made bladesins
anyone got pics/stats/gear/etc to share?

I made this after Ceramics post on bfury mechanics as a proof of concept if you will. One of the stronger sin builds around.

town guarding is noob, but bfury/sentinal rocks

I have this as a pvm char on HCL around Death BA.
93% deadly strike, 100%cb. That damage shown is almost always doubled. Conviction merc means it always hits (ok fine, like 95% cth)
do not underestimate fury and sentinal went build around properly.

Gface helm with 40% ed jewel
Fort Boneweave
Death BA
Lanceguard shield 40% ed jewel (deadly strike is key here)
Metalgrid ammy
Gore boots
Tgod Belt
Trang Gloves (have also messed around with Loh's, on the fence here)
1Ravenfrost Ring , 1 rare duel leach res ring

Spirit+cta switch
Infinnity merc , Dream helm (light damage and confuse, Coh armor (needed leach somewhere)

stash , Lacerator

I maxed Bfury , Death sentry , Venom+ enough points in dtalon (bosses) to have 4 kicks with +stuff (torch anni) (sitting on a bunch of free points)

the damage shown has almost nothing to do with the real damage, its not really doubled persay.
death BA means you do not benefit from claw mastery, nor from your 0.75/0.75 stat points, which is terrible.
phoenix > lance guard when it comes to blade sentinel, as is any claw better than death ba (gets the ar bonus).
For any pvp use, you'd need to can your metalgrid/raven/rare for angelics, tgods for dungos or arachs (O_o) and so on.

See, the problem with your character is that you focused entirely on blade fury.
This guide is all about blade sentinel. I don't like blade fury. Its pretty much weaker than guided arrow in every single way, even if it can do a minor bit more damage per shot, its slower, unaimed, etc.
Blade sentinel, on the other hand, has many unique advantages that other skills don't give.

Well the Death BA build looks interesting :D but I want a TG'er in my account ;)
I reread through the first post and I may have missed where it says eth is a priority. What bonus does it add?

It is doubled, thats what deadly strike does. While the venom isnt doubled, it's a fairly small part of the total damage put out. A post was requested on someone actually making a blade skill focused character and it was posted in that light since your thread was lacking on this. Since claw mastery does nothing for ar on fury, Death is a good option. I play pvm only and if I was pvp'ing sentinel would be better off with a claw, your correct. Townguarding is something mentally challanged tards do because they cant win any other way consistently. Make a good build and be good with it by fairly winning your fights.

Extra deadly strike is worth a little bit more ed% damage. a 40%ed 20% ds shield is worth the trade off. Besides the redemption messes up death sentry .

cm's chart of damage

Godly Rare Claw (pic) Ethereal 1226 155/105
Death Ettin Axe Ethereal 1137 155/105
Lacerator (after Amp) Ethereal 1137 155/115 (req)
Last Wish Bezerker Axe Ethereal 1132 155/105
Choas Suwayyah Ethereal 1115 165/105 (weapon)
Stonecrusher Ethereal 1089 185/105 (weapon/req)
Fury Suwayyah Ethereal 1088 155/105

as you can see death is a top tier damage wep, and when you consider pvm , crushing blow and ds, it overshadows the other options. Ive tried fury claw, I did this around a perfect famine legendary mallet too and I like Death. Posted to show the potential that exists on these blade skills to backup some of the misunderstanding and nay sayers who have posted in your thread.

uh no, I don't think you understand

the damage displayed on the character screen is utterly utterly wrong, because it doesn't account for %ED's effect on blade fury/sentinel, and thus its a lying character screen
if you want to know what your damage is, you have to calculate it.
and that chart which you are quoting used obscure gear setups that were inefficient, had essentially no attack rating, didn't account for factors like ele damage / cs / etc

furthermore, the person who wrote it, took claim to some "bfury discovery", after reading an update on the arreat summit about how blade skills work.
guess who wrote the arreat summit update
