Ok so fort which I've always strived to get on my merk. (Until recently never really could)

Standard Eth Threasher Obedience 991dmg - does about 3.5k dmg with eth scaraab duress 1417def- 3k def and Stealskull (i have gkulls and andys and all in stash, I like LL with MF adn high def on Him this is just an example)

Switch For Eth Dusk Shroud FORT 1917 Def- 6.5k Dmg and 4k Def.

Duress dmg---- 3.5k
Fort Dmg------6.5k

I Literally only knew about fort as a armor. I'm looking at the stats and debating making a Fort Weapon for an either act 2 or 2 forts for my act 5 merk.

Here's the thing.... I watch streamers and builds all day on YT. All of em LLama, DB, Cooley, Ginger, Iceman, all the ones you know.. Alzorath, Trixmegistus Macro, Dartlin, Blaufuchs, Hand of uncut.

There are 0 videos of a dual or tri fort merk... I want this to be a thing I want the Fcr to do soemthing dont the ac5 merks howl (ive never played a acct 5 no point for 20 yrs we have Alhizeer in act 2.).... or the damage on and act2 with something like a 3 pulled eth Crown. Specifically for Idk Killing Andy or Lillith.

Is fort viable in a dual set up act 2 and or is dual fort with an idk eth headstriker with a sheal in it better for an act 5 barb.

Thoughts advice before i make 3 more forts. 1 in a polearm two in axes or swords.

Ill throw 15 fg to the first 2 consenting opinions.

Give me Legit debate OR 2 or 3 of you work the math out, maby in a weeklong knock down drag out fight where wives are insulted, and pets are called not the besets boys or girls. ill give ya both a kidney If you give me a real response. I want to learn here..... and its not about the FG... I can make em all, all day IST cost 5fg ber is 98. Money not an issue.... i just dont want to not understand and literally no videos in English or German that cover a dual or tri Fort Merk. Dbrunksi ive been watching him since i was in the army and Xtimus just as long....

Maby this isnt viable or even close to viable but I want it to work for something.

fortitude's fcr will never matter on the merc. If you want to use fortitude as a weapon, may I suggest going for a 100% hit causes monster to flee. You could use face of horror + rattlecage + fortitude and play some kind of build that would benefit from monsters running away after your merc hit them. I could see that being useful for a poison character to watch monsters run away and die from poison, or a lightning strike amazon so that the monster running away to his friends damage them with chain lightning... pretty much any ranged character I guess

afaik treachery is better then fortitude armor.

Ty both yes I agree Treachery is better all around, and i run it every ladder till duress. Paired with a Gskull it melts enemies before I can get rich enogh for the Lo....

So what Im seeeing here if I understand is the double damage I get from running Fort armor with Obedience Is better than damage than I would get using a Fort Polearm and and Fort Armor on Act2 merk.... or 3 forts on a barb merk.

But yall are saying skip fort for treachery, beacause when it all comes down to it the Ias from treachery paired with the res and other stats make it infinitesimally irrelevant how much damage im doing....

Another words yes, my maxed-out fire sorc can do 35k Meteor damage but my fire ball can do 20k and i can get 7 damn fireballs off before the stupid meteor hits.... I got ya This helps alot guys tip incoming.

yea i was thinking merk but if we talk about the psn or the monster to flee on me, thats kinda cool to have basically the howl skill on hit. still kinda want the fort to double my damage then the other fort double it.

yea this exactly ty, ok so the wc merrk isnt an option pooie, OK but what If I put tHe Fort on him with something non op but still good aaaaa Tornado mace thing, and a cresent moon. Ill still get the double dmage from Fort good but the damage wont be.... Okk so I put fort on him with a proc stick like cresent moon and put the Fort on his off hand. will i get 4x damage for the Headstriker with the massive what its it open wounds no the other one not CB u Know.... I think this is my real question........ but you did awesome My friend.

that's not how dmg works. ed only works on physical dmg from weapon hits, so tornado and other sources of physical dmg from spells are not affected. also mods on weapons only contribute for hits of this individual weapon: hits with mainhand use mainhand effects, hits with offhand use offhand stats. furthermore, both fortis will be calculated differently: on-weapon ed is calculated first, referring to the base weapon dmg. off-weapon ed (armor etc) is calculated afterwards and additively with all other sources of off-weapon ed (like ed from skills etc). this means that IF there is a lot off ed from other sources, forti armor does not multiply the total dmg by 4 but gives a smaller contribution

i don't think that you will get high enough defense on an act 2 merc. maybe the act 5. or if you are playing a barb with max shout. I say you at least need to hit 15k for def to matter.

Dosent matter Pixi31415, Totally irrelevant for the purposes of the Dual or tri fort. Sure i could run a pally, or necro or make a beast to amp up his dmg but Im really just looking for that top end 1% hit on a act3 or 5 merk... Maby no LL and his Def irrelevant for this test. BUT THANKS I appreciate you responding. Its looking like the act5 Headstriker/Grief is going to be the king with treachery.... but im gona keep working it.

Tganks L8, Yea I put a stone on my act5 with a Cresent Moon and something and he was rocking 10kdef in town.... Im liking the act5 more,,,, I took a naked barb and bo'd him up and he sowly was able to clear down to the Forge with no problem on hell. P1. SO Im 100 sure when He I put on the Treach or the Fort with the Grief /Headstriker hes gona melt.... Ill Keep Yall posted.
