im a lvl 9 fighter whats best type of wep to use i no ee and str is what to look for also im lvl 9 in catacombs and only getting lvl 0 items is it random? or what also whats best charms for me to use solo and group

You'd be surprised what weapons you can buy in the marketplace for 1 fg, I'd look there. I got a couple items (sword and armor) for 1 fg apiece and it helps like crazy

only got 1 fg i bought lvl 1 items lol.. npw broke so i was hoping for a lvl 10 to drop or even a lvl 5 items y wont they?

my question is y are no lvl 5 + items dropping and also whats best wep for a fighter like longsword axe ect.?

I forgot the requirement to play LS was having 1k or moar.....

Imo, I would try to stick with ee swords / ee armors ( chain + plate as they are the best bang for A buck , literally, and str charms. )

You will soon drop lvl 5 items once the mobs you face are level 15 n higher.

You should look for stickied guides for beginners = D , http://forums.d2jsp.org/topic.php?t=16280512&f=272 there is one. Its outdated but still tons of useful information

The reason why I suggest you should use swords is because you can use them on your fighter + samuarai + paladin so you will save fg that way =D

Tbh, you should try playing HC, much more fun & exhilarating! Also, when you actually find an item it will be worth much more then on SC!
