No such thing as farming gear in this game. Other than buying gear that was probably found years ago.

If you gain access to a time machine I would recommend checking out the arena or muting otherwise you will need to climb about million times to find everything you need

Yup, but...


It's more about the best levels to farm high end gear rather than the best place in this game. Ofc, in terms of place, you may try maps with nice mods or else at the evil well where you throw in high level white items and kill a well boss to get his loot...

But I'd say try to explore (not whistle) between level 54 and the highest level you can kill at effectively (not much benefit from going higher, but you'll level as you kill) in solo, or in group, level 51+. That's where level 55 drops will be possible, and ofc all other levels too.

Whistle until lvl 25 in my opinion, unless you want maps then explore out of the gate

All good farming areas got nerfed over the last 8 years... the only way to farm, good ol grinding it out and hope for a good drop that people want.

Imo with low cost gear just go to level 25 and continue to kill your character while running cheap or self found tier 3 maps with loads of Evil presence on them. Do this for some time and sell low-mid gear you find till you save for better.
This is a random thought I just had and it is if your a solo player trying to kill fast and have a lot of evil presence exposure.

Tier 3 map has monster up to lvl 25 and after that you will see less good loot.

You could also do this for any lvl past tier 3 maps. Every tier after (3) = 5 more monster level cap.
