i just wish i could go back to inferno difficulty on release and give myself a chance of beating it at my own pace

i feel like at the time my concepts of how to build a strong character were so flawed and i was sooo stupid i really didnt know anything

i dont mind having a challenge, spending some of those nights dying 50 times to the same elite pack and losing all my gold to repair costs was pretty fun

Yeah, very hard, especially with mana shield chain lightning wizard

Good luck chain lightning advocates in lvl 16 which are immune to all spells and do 35-40% damage in one fireball hit when you're at max resists with a sorc running 1101 mana (for you who don't know, 1156 is max mana available with perfect gear, which, without cheats, takes years to get)

Then just skip those bastards and search for games with knights and witches. With mana shield you can exploit the game mechanics- you just need to get your health lower than your level and then activate mana shield to lose hit recovery animation

...there are only advocates and blood knights in dlvl 16. You can't skip them. And regarding the health exploit, it's considered non-legit.
The point still stands - Diablo (one) was a difficult game, much more so than Diablo II. I have no idea how Diablo III is though, so I'll just shut up
