I know you're supposed to switch it up weekly/monthly or whatever, so i've been trying to do that a little bit, bt not my main focus atm.

I currently work out M-F

Everday i do abs
I used to run every day as well, but not so much anymore. If I do decide to pick this up again i may attempt some better fat burning workouts instead.

But here's my schedule

Monday: Chest
Tuesday: Legs
Wednesday: Biceps/Triceps
Thrusday: Back/Shoulders
Friday: Chest

Used to do biceps/triceps 2x a week but i switched b/c i wanted to work on my chest.
I also recently added in the other two "big" compound excercises: deadlift & squat.

So deadlift works out the back and legs
Squat does the legs and back as well?
Would you recommend combining the days and doing something else?

What are your schedules like?


Edit: Also, for those of you doing all the compound excercises, do you do a bunch of other stuff as well like machines? or just the compound excercises?
B/c i do squats, then a lot of the big leg machines for my leg day. Any recommendations on if this many excercises is good or if i'd progress faster doing only compounds?

Squat isn't used to work the back, but technically you're utilizing your core so yes? :unsure:

Switch Friday to second leg day
And you'll be happier in life

I guess it's just preference on that

Yeah i know it's the core too lol, but i thought it was back also though i'm probably mistaken. I just meant mostly b/c i do deadlift which is leg and squat which is leg, maybe combining leg/back day.
And accessory you mean all the machines i guess as opposed to compound only?
And why 2nd leg day? I used to have huge pride in my legs lol but i mostly just been doing the 2nd day of whatever i felt i needed, since i wanted to work on my chest.
But i do like squatting so maybe ill switch 2nd chest to 2nd leg soon lol

shoulders hitting your three deltoid heads, as well as incorperating traps (unless you wanna do them on back day, either or work)

and no need for a second chest day is all :p

lol welli used to do 2nd arm day but my arms got ok and my chest is weak, so figured i work on that lol

Assuming you're commenting on the 'three deltoid head' portion moreso, but I would have hoped you had a higher comprehension.
I also never stated that was to build strong shoulders

He asked about accessorys, simple examples were provided. But hell building a healthy shoulder isn't even important, probably best to just do heavy OHP and nothing else 🤔
