I recently started working out again after being lazy for about a year

When I do my biceps I get that somewhat intense pain in my forearm

Here's a picture to show where the pain is at (approximatly)

Do you have an idea what can cause this or how to reduce pain or even make it go away ?

Thanks :)

Let me ask you this....does that hurt when you do ANY biceps? or only Straight Bar curls (opposed to e-z bar curls)?

mostly straight bar, yes

but it does hurt a bit when I use e-z bar but it might just be because of the pain I had because of the straight bar

Hey I have been reading over everything you said and avidly looking into the cutting routines you have posted.

My question (which may be off topic is,) I have a slight aversion to gyms as I tend to get nervous in social settings I was wondering if you had an ideas about getting over that or any tips that might help?

My other question is with the diets I have scene you post it seems to always be the same foods am I supposed to always eat those or is there some way to know what to substitute?

Thanks for any help and so much information already provided in this thread.

sounds like it...okay heres what I want you to do...

take 1 week off of any type of curling exercise.

Use rest + ice...compression/elevation is not required.

Also you can use ibuprofen as necessary.

next week, begin curling only at a neutral angle...no more straight bar stuff. That caused me plenty of ulna injuries before, and I refuse to use it because of that. use EZ bar or dumbbells

Hey there.

I am sorry but I can not discuss steroids or any other illegal susbstance on JSP for legal reasons. If you are interested in steroids I suggest you go over to anabolicminds forums and ask around. However the best and safest bet would be to avoid steroids all together or you could discuss it with a sports medicine doctor.

lastly...in regard to diet changes...you can substitute anything so long as it maintains the calories/macros. Basically replace a meat with a meat, a cheese with a cheese and a veggie with a veggie...so long as the macros/calories are about the same.

most of that is true...however when you posted your routine you asked me to tweak it for you, which i did.

However, if you are wanting a new plan now...you should be on the classic cutting routine...

Cutting Workout Routine

You are not going to be building muscle on cutting, that is not how things work and I have preached that for a long time.

so let me know what you want to do

I'll be cutting only at the moment, I just figured it may have been possible with proper macros but alright

But could you re-arrange the days so that I won't be training chest on mondays? so that there will actually be benches available ya know how it can get in the gym on mondays

Mon - Legs/shoulders + cardio
tues - chest/bis + cardio
weds - back/tris + cardio
thurs - legs/shoulders + cardio
fri - chest/bis + cardio
sat - back/tris + cardio

This will suffice, correct?
