Here's your problem, "SBD" (Silent, but deadly - fart? LMAO)

You deal in absolutes.

You can't imagine a man who can simultaneously be trolling you - and be 90% correct in what he is saying. This is a leftist problem - its called you have no brain.

You're on the health and fitness forum and you don't know what SBD stands for? You really are stupid.

What - I've done it.

I've never had a problem procuring cash for my endeavors - do you know why? Because I show the bank my tax info and they immediately realize that whatever credit disputes I've had in the past are completely irrelevant next to the sheer amount of financial competence it takes to amass the wealth I have.

Only peasants like you have to abide by Planet fitness Karen's rules - hahaha.

Amass the wealth you have 🤣🤣🤣, you’re a medical assistant.

And yes, you will be sent to collections for 30 bucks. I’ve sent people to collections for less than that. I sent someone for a 6 dollar expense that their insurance didn’t cover for an x-ray.

And yes, it will fuck your credit up. But go ahead, you’ll show them!

"you’re a medical assistant. "

What? Oh I get it - you think CMA is a medical title. ROFLMAO

And yeah of course - you CAN be sent to collections, but its just highly unlikely. I've seen invoices worth over 1-2 grand just sit there in accounts receivable for literally decades - most businesses can't be bothered to even pay the nerd to make the phone call to set it up. You're probably forking over 15 bucks in labor just to get the case open - why bother?

I also said pretty clearly at the start (I guessed you missed it) that if he's a poor person, he should just pay it to get the whole situation out of the way. The little squabble I had with Mr. flatulence was all about me boasting that I don't give a fuck about a credit blemish, because the bankers want my business anyway.

I will never take the vaccine. They wouldn't even release it without complete indemnity. Now we see some of the most vaccinated regions have the worst hospitalizations. It's almost like the vax is causing more illness... I have extra layers of tinfoil hat on, though because of govt talking about NWO and "you will own nothing and be happy" kind of stuff. Springboarding totalitarianism using pandemic fear porn. Funny how fast the partisan weapon turned it into a right-wing position. Huge psy op. Virus so deadly you gotta get tested to even know you have it.

Jeeze, this forum has devolved.

The correct answer is: read the contract to your membership.

If you don't have a copy still, request a copy from the gym. If they don't have a copy of it...well, they certainly can't bill you for a cancelation fee.

If they do produce a copy for you, read over all clauses in relation to cancelations. Your answer is there.

Gym contracts are usually self-renewing, meaning you don't have to sign a new contract every so often.

Usually a cancelation fee occurs when you opt out of the membership, but there are yearly membership dues/maintenance fees that haven't happened yet (example: some gyms may charge a $50 maintenance fee every July, but you're canceling in March, so they pro-rate it).

The basis of most gym contracts are: you agree to give the gym $XX at the start of every month, and--in exchange--you may use their facility for the month.

Unless there is some clause in your contract (and there very well may be), you likely shouldn't have to pay a cancelation fee. You have met your contractual obligation to pay the monthly membership fee, and yet they are restricting you from the goods/service that they are contractually obligated to provide you with--meaning THEY are the ones who breached the contract. When one party breaches a contract, the other party can choose whether or not to terminate it--without recourse--or continue the contract.

However, the gym could try pulling from some random stipulation that may be in your contract that says something like, "you must not do anything that is deemed at OUR SOLE DISCRETION to put any other members, staff, or patrons in harm's way."

Institutions do love to put in vague language that often translates to, "whatever we decide is what is going to happen." It's there to protect them for random, unforeseen situations. And they do it because they can: either sign this contract or go somewhere else. You had a had the choice and chose to sign these terms.

Tl;dr: if you have a bunch of money, not concerned about credit, and are bored, tell them that they've breached the contract and you are charging them $60 or it is simply being terminated for their failure to uphold their contractual obligations.

If not, just pay the $30 and be done with the headache.
Just be sure to tell them, "I'm going to build my own gym. With blackjack. And hookers. And...in fact, forget the gym."

The vast majority of hospitalizations in the US are from the unvaccinated. Where are you?

Same in Canada. They put out the figures daily of vaccinated, unvaccinated, and those below 18.

Typically 85%+ unvaccinated. That's not an exaggerated figure that's just my best estimate of daily average without actually doing the calc. Point being its blatenly obvious its those who won't vaccinate then having to tuck tail and end up overwhelming the hospital when they get sick. I'm sure the vast majority of unvaccinated people in the hospital are those spreading misinformation and touting their health only to be reduced to a hospital bed.

The entire idea of vaccinating all was to reduce hospitalization due to it overwhelming out health care system with daily patients. We're still seeing health care facilities overshelmed and it's by the unvaccinated. It should d fairly clear at this point but it like a trying to tell a toddler it's bed time when they don't want to you still see adults having a fit of being told to do something.
