You are only going 2 weeks without carbs on the INITIAL keto phase (this is a one time thing).

After that, you are carbing up every 7 days.

The first 2 weeks i taken to FULLY set your body into ketosis. Some people need more time than others.

O ok. So I am supposed to be carbing up weekly from now on? Cool.

Hey just some stats and info about me.

5'10 sitting at 155-160 (varies)

i was at 140, but have recently gained all that weight, but now it seems as thought i can gain any more size/strength, ive changed my routine 2x, and still see no result from it (change every 2-3 months)
I have also noticed my diet isent that great, but honestly im too skinny for my height and eat everything in sight..

im taking these supplements
Jack3d
Kre-alkalyne
ON protein shake.

any suggestions on what i need to do to continue seeing gains?

It's close...if you could possibly throw in a meal replacement bar during the day that would help. Try VPX Zero Impact (very healthy) or MetRX Big 100 Colossal (less healthy)

hey raynori have a protein and amino acid question

We need protein so our body can break down into usable amino acids to our muscles correct?

if that is true than why not just take BCAA's instead of whey protein than?

Or amino acid supplements, which are cheaper. Can anyone who is aware of this type of knowledge let me know?

There are people who say just taking BCAA's or amino acids are much better, since its more abundant than whey protein.

Thanks

Yes, that is what we require.

The reason is because you require a LOT of protein in order to provide as much aminos as is needed by the body.

Example, 6 oz of chicken breast has around 6g of arginine alone. To take 6g worth of arginine from supplements (not to mention the 6g of lysine, and all dozens of other aminos in chicken breast) you would result in paying MUCH more for the equivalent amount of aminos.

So why take supplemental aminos at all you might ask? The reason is simple - rapid absorption at specific times during the day to achieve certain things...such as arginine pre workout, glutamine post workout, and carnitine on an empty stomach between meals.

Basically, amino supps are meant simply for quick absorption and direct action for that particular event. General consumption of MANY aminos is mostly for slow release over a given time for repair, regeneration, sustainability, and anabolism.
