squat shoes wouldn't help, youd be effectively pulling from a deficit ie. requiring greater flexibility that you already dont have

first off stop trying to move 405 if you cant move it properly. ego lifting has no place in anything, ever. second off, sumo is gay. third, make yourself more flexible in the hamstrings first, and deadlift with weights you can actually lift properly before trying to lift heavy things.

ego lifting with 405  what

how was i supposed to know i couldn't move 405 properly if i didnt do it? it's been a month since my last conventional deadlift, this is more of a failed progress report

not like i'm over here trying to max out

you don't have to max out to ego lift m8, I know from experience, lol.

If you have shit form pulling conventional, than a working set of 405 is unrealistic.. Step back and get your form right first.

Because if your form is fundamentally wrong at 405, it’ll be fundamentally wrong at 315.. You need to learn correct cues and form with conventional before pulling.

You can pull 135 with systemically wrong form and most people wouldn’t be able to tell, doesn’t mean you’re doing it right.

Trust me m9, the second you utilize the above advice, 405 will fly up a lot easier.

I feel ya man, but the only way you’re going to solve your problem is by pulling conventional.

Try doing light paused deads to correct your form. This and learning the cues will help a shit load. Don’t be discouraged, your deadlifts aren’t THAT bad, they just need some tweaking

Are there any pros/cons to doing bench at the beginning and the end of your chest routine? I like to get off the bench after 5 or so sets to let someone else use it, wondering if there's any point to doing more sets later also.
