hey so i have some more questions.

Current diet :
Breakfast - 3/4 cup oatmeal, 3 scrambled eggs, ice water (drink ice water to raise your metabolism)
Meal 2 - 1 can of tuna fish made w/ veggies + mustard/mayo + 1 slice whole grain bread (or half a baked potato or 3/4 cup cooked brown rice)
Meal 3 - Salad with grilled chicken (use 100% extra virgin olive oil and vinegar as the dressing, all veggies and chicken, no croutons or any carb)
Meal 4 - 3 hard boiled eggs + 2 oz cheese + veggies or salad
Meal 5 - 40 gram Protein shake
Meal 6 - 1 cup 2% cottage cheese with mixed nuts and cinnamon

Questions :

could you give me a more specific and detailed diet, i plan to do cardio everday except sundays, and do weight lifting 3 x a week.

so could you give me a diet customized around that, so that im properly fueled after cardio and working out ? and specific things , like some staple examples of what kinds of veggies i could eat at meal times.

- its been brought to my attention that the protein % is quite low, is that true? if so should i incorporate whey protein powder with the other meals as well?

- ive had this pain in my left forearm for a few days now, its the pain that you get when you've bruised a part on your body, but their is no bruise mark. Also it only hurts when i press on it in a certain way do you have any idea what it could be ? it feels like its right under the bone when i press on it.

- i have a water bottle thats 20 oz / 600ml's when its full. is it bad if i drink all of it (20oz) of water in one sitting ? or how much should i be drinking a day, especially after cardio + working out ? in ounces though. and how much is to much to drink at 1 time??

- are juices bad to drink when cutting? i love juice so its something i look forward too D=

- also, whats an example substitute protein shake to use for a meal? could you name the things you put in it ?

- also regarding the diet, i want to cut/ lose weight but i would also like a low % bf , maybe around 8-10 so i get them veins and muscles toned as fuck ! but retain the muscle !

- (no keto diet though!~)

- thanks ! (also in my posts sorry if im repetitive about the questions.

Hey SKCRaynor, i'm 16 5'7 153lbish @ about 15-18%BF
I would like to reach somewhere around 12% BF without having to sacrifice muscle or muscle gains if possible
This is my current typical diet for cutting

Oatmeal + 2 Eggs + Coffee
3-4 Chicken Breasts + 1 apple
1 Scoop Myofusion with water after school + 1 slice cheese
1 Scoop Myofusion with water PWO
Chicken/Fish/Meat Dinner with broccoli/spinach/lettuce/ or some other green
1 scoop Myofusion with milk right before sleep
Multi + Fish Oil

I do HIIT as cardio about 3-4 times a week

P.S. I am trying to reduce carbs as much as possible to just Oatmeal and protein/milk to lose fat in the fastest way possible, but I am not sure if it is the best way to maintain muscle / muscle gains

I feel as if I am relying too much on Myofusion and i'm lacking in fat?
I'm eating the cheese to get my source of fat, but I read that there is too much of saturated fat.

Please make major changes to my diet as necessary :)

Thank you Raynor

Hey bro

figured since time is flying by id start learning more about the keto diet that im going on in march (for the teen bb comp in june)

1st off, assuming i would do the CKD (cycling keto diet) it seems to be the most popular. But i also read that THE TKD (targeted keto diet) is better for intesive training?
which one shld i be doing?

also so far its been kinda rough getting a grasp on this diet. Assuming ill weigh 200lbs in the start of this diet here is what i got for my ratios for CKD

Daily intake
200grams protein (800 cal)
50grams carbs (200 cal)
111grams fats (999 calories)
Total of 2000 calories a day

PWO shake is 30grams whey and 30grams of juice

Carb loading - 36 hour process?
200grams protein
2000-2400 grams of carbs
<90 grams fat

and i thought i was to do carb up days every week (i.e. every friday night to sat night)

but i was looking over the examples u were giving and you had a different cycle of

13 days
6 days
13 days
etc....

jst looking for ur opinion/advice

Thank you

5'7"
200~ LBs.

Looking to cut a majority of fat around my abdominal section.

Arms and Legs are rather muscular so I can on and off work those sections if anything on days i'm not working abdominals.

I have personal access to a bench press w/ arm curl at home limited to only 60LBs of plates and a treadmill if this can help.
At school, I have access to a Fitness Room with a variety of equipment for bulking up and weight loss.
I can combine school and home if anything since that is my last period of the day so I can work myself out there.

Thanks for the help in advance.

Heya Raynor, I've read 1/4 of the pages pages and skimmed through the rest and love what you are doing for the people here, keep it up, you're truly making a difference. :)
Anyway, to the point. I'm looking to lose some weight by cutting (Age 19 Height 6'0 and weight about 195lbs). My goal is to lose some weight cutting before I gain weight bulking. But do not worry/focus on the bulking at all now, this is all cutting for the time being. My questions for bulking will come to you at a later time. :D
My plan is doing cardio 5-6 days a week with 2-3 days of working out, so, most days will be gym days. (Unless you suggest something else). My goal is to obviously cardio for weight loss, but maintain muscle mass by continuing to hit the weights. My legs have always been my stronger side exponentially from being a soccer and hockey player. So I figured a 2 arm day and 1 leg day + all the cardio would be ideal for me. Looking for your input on this if good/bad and what you suggest I change or alter.

Additionally, I've looked a lot at the keto diet (mostly around this forum), and it seems that would be a good choice from what I have heard.
Think you can come up with a meal plan for me for that? A brief example one that you posted earlier would even do to which I can ask questions about at a later time.
To save you some time, found your examples. From this post: http://forums.d2jsp.org/topic.php?t=21269614&p=304616466#p304616466

Meal 1 - 4 whole eggs + 1 oz full fat cheese w/ 1/2 cup green peppers
Meal 2 - 1 zero carb protein shake w/ 3 tbsp heavy cream
Meal 3 - 1 salad with chicken breast and 2 tbsp olive oil + vinegar
Meal 4 - 1 can of tuna + 2 oz full fat cheese + 2-3 tbsp mayo + green veggies (celery, green pepper, etc)
Meal 5 - 6oz ground beef (80/20) with grated romano cheese, 4tbsp tomato sauce, and green veggies
Meal 6 - 1 cup cottage cheese + either 3tbsp heavy cream or 2tbsp olive oil w/ 8-10 almonds.

Meal 1 - 2 large bowls of shredded wheat + FAT FREE milk
Meal 2 - a lot of pasta + tomato sauce and grated cheese
meal 3 - 2 cups brown rice, 1 cup black beans + salsa
Meal 4 - 1 large baked potato, 1 large sweet potato, veggies
meal 5 - 2-3 large bagels with nonfat cream cheese
meal 6 - 2-3 whole grain bran muffins with nonfat milk

Are these examples ones you would like me to follow to obtain my goals/wants. Any changes or all good?

Also,
What supplements do you suggest and brand names I use? Money is not a problem, so don't hold back.
I found a couple posts of yours suggesting supplements, but not too sure if they were for bulkers only or other reasons. So decided to let you post and guide me in the right direction.

Thanks for any help you provide. :D

Hey there. I actually just posted these for the guy above you.

Here is the anabolic cutting diet along with the proper cutting workout routine. It is standard cyclical keto with a few adjustments.

Any progress? All pics are relaxed.

Start: 6'1 150 Pounds
Bench 95 , barely could pull out 6 reps for 1 set
Deadlift 135 , was worried about my form at first
Squat 135 , wasn't that hard , did about 8 reps

Now
Bench 140 , pushing 5 reps for 3 sets moving up to 145 this week
Squat 205 , 5 reps 3 sets parallel
Deadlift 225 5 reps

http://img51.imageshack.us/img51/1427/progressd.jpg

I get so discouraged because I look at other peoples 4-5 month progress and the've made sooo much better gains than I have.. my isn't on the right track to looking good it seems..

I dont know what to do no change in my body has really discouraged me.

Hey there.

Please don't get discouraged with yourself.

You must understand, that it takes a very long time to make solid progress. Usually it takes at least a year before you start to see a transformation (NATURALLY).

Your lifts have gone up considerably in a short time. In addition your arms are noticeably larger, and traps are definitely growing.

I see a SMALL bit on gyno in the chest - are you taking anti-estrogens and a good PH? If not, you might want to look into that. I would recommend doing a lot of research and coming back to me after you do that. I unfortunately can not recommend you a good anti-estrogen and/or PH anymore because of liability issues that were recently presented to me.

However I can point you in the right direction and tell you that a lot can be found on the forum anabolicminds. They openly talk about things of this nature and there are a few knowledgeable individuals you might meet there as well.

Lastly, I would recommend increasing your total caloric load (CLEANLY) about 500 cal per day divided into equal distribution of protein/carbs/fat as previously prescribed.

Moreover, are you on creatine? if so, when/how do you take it?

overall good progress, keep it up and by sept of 2011 you will be noticeably bigger and stronger.

Depends on your goals.

for cutting I like Optimum Nutrition Pro Complex and NOW! 100% whey isolate are two of my favorites.

For bulking I like cytogainer (by cytosport) or Vitol Russian Bear or Optimum Nutrition Pro Complex Gainer.

for a decent overall shake I like cytosport muscle milk mostly for the flavors and total macros which make it almost an MRP.

follow this for hypertrophy....just use the arms section if you don't need the rest:
