^ form is not bad. Doesn't look heavy to enough to create much form breakdown to critique, as the later reps look as good if not better than the first.

Only thing id say is your stance looks pretty wide, though that is mostly a personal preference thing. Upper back rounding isnt a problem imo.

appreciate it.. Here was a 315 attempt.. Didn't feel like I did too great on this pull, but fuck it, i'll post it.

e: sorry my head got cut off... Wife was watching me, not the camera.

Form is much better here.

Your hips are lower, you sit back more, the load is put onto your hamstrings, shoulder positioned over the bar, = it goes up faster and cleaner

upper back slightly rounded you think?

imo try pulling the slack out to keep shoulders/back tight before dropping your hips for the pull

Clean pull seen much worse

Oh for sure its rounded, there are lots of little things which are not good, like the set up, switching grips mid set up (loool). The lockout

@OP try taking your big breath while standing up, then lower yourself and grab the bar while staying tight. I find it easier to take in a full breath when my ribcage is open, rather than when im bent over (especially for your sake cos your relaxed position over the bar is rounded as fuk)

I'm srsly like the most unsure lifter there is right now.. I just started seriously adding weight to my dl like maybe 2 months ago, so this is all new. I was going for the hook grip at the beginning, and I remembered how awesome 'sarcasm' it felt doing 265 with a hook grip, so I switched it up  .

Thanks for the help m9

I wasn't even gonna go there lol

the lockout idk if he loses balance or double hinges at the hips either way looks painful lmao

OP find someone to show you how to deadlift. Mental cues are huge I'm teaching my brother to dl right now it's all a learning process
