And people say you can't gain strength while in a deficit

Sand bags are cheap and could be used for farmers walks if you could hook something to both ends or put them inside some type of box with handles.. or heavy ass pieces of schedule 40 BS pipe

I found some actual carrying sand bags online for like 40 bucks each.. Maybe I'll snag those!

And I think my gains are from training my cns on proper form and figuring out MY most efficient way to put heavy shit up.. I think real gains will start once I start eating more.

Might as well try my best though, right?

Failed 255 on last set.. Managed to pull 3 reps on the last set before ditching the bar at the bottom of the 4th..

New PR for DL! 285 sumo DL.. God damn I love lifting

Also new weight is 219.8

255 again today.. ready to try and crush this shit..

Got some new shoes today too, went out and bought some chucks.. They were 30 bucks and by what I've heard they are awesome for lifting.. So lets give er a try.

Pulled 315 x1 today! Fucking rekt my chins, but felt fucking great..

Nothing special with squats, did 3x5 255..

Bench is my super weak point.. Did 145 3x5.. Anybody have any suggestions on this? I've been going linear, but I almost feel like in the next 3 weeks I'm for sure going to plateau on this exercise..

Also, weight is around 218

Check form, build up triceps, back, and front delts while working on bench

Form is great, what it is is I really need to start training the accessory muscles involved in the movement.. I'm struggling!

On another note, had my wife tape my dl session.. 265 here



Always open ears for constructive criticism, since nobody at my gym really do these movements.

^ form is not bad. Doesn't look heavy to enough to create much form breakdown to critique, as the later reps look as good if not better than the first.

Only thing id say is your stance looks pretty wide, though that is mostly a personal preference thing. Upper back rounding isnt a problem imo.
