I used to get real bad hip pain,

My solution: squat narrower, I’m at shoulder width

This, or learn to squat low bar with a wider stance and start working on dem flexors.

That's what I saw online so I'm going to try that. I didn't think I was squatting that wide though. I was a little bit more than shoulder width.

Narrower stance seemed to help. Going to be extra diligent about it still. Almost back up to squatting two plates and just hit two plate deadlift. According to the app, now my deadlifts are going to go up by just 5 lbs instead of 10.

Not going to lie, I've been struggling with motivation lately. I'm getting to the gym at least twice a week, but sometimes don't go on weekends and I'm not putting in the effort I should be.

I just have some other stuff I'm working on, I'm not just being lazy and sitting around all day, so I'm kind of okay with it. I'm going to try to get back into taking it seriously, but I don't see anything wrong with getting a couple work outs in each week and maintaining my strength.

You need to reach beyond motivation and make it so it’s hard to go through your day without working out.

I work full time, im a full time nursing student, I’m a dad, I’m a husband, and I go to the gym every day.

If you want it, do it.

Got a second wind. Trying to push past 135 bench. Used to bench 135 but without going deep enough, now I'm doing it with proper form. Think I injured my shoulder today though :( hopefully it heals quickly.
