Raynlads, I had an itchy belly button so I went to scratch it

Scratched it lightly

Look at belly button later that day

It's bleeding, Strongggg Wtf

Now I've got a scab right up in there

Any ideas? I certainly did not cut it with my finger nails, I'm a biter.

It looks like it's been split

Unsure if related, my entire life ive had a very sensitive belly button, don't let anyone near it srs

Sounds like a skin infection, especially if itching came before the bleeding. If the area is red, itchy, and bleeds....9/10 it's a a mild skin infection, or even a more serious infection such as Staph or the dreaded MRSA.

I would highly recommend using neosporin on the area, and monitoring it. If it gets worse, see a doctor ASAP. If it gets better, keep the area clean, dry, and covered in a modest amount of neosporin for at least a few days.

It could also be internal trauma behind the abdominal wall, with the injury protruding where there is the least amount of resistance. If it's a trauma, the surrounding area would be tender and/or swollen, OR bruising would be present.

Hey man, just one more question to ask.
How do I approach cardio work outs since i'm lifting? I really want to work on stamina.

Thanks a lot man.

Continue your normal lifting routine, and hit 30-45 minutes of HIIT immediately post workout for stamina training. I would not advise you mix weights and cardio if you are trying to make solid strength gains, and these generally contradict each other.

Eating a lot of pork, directly prior to a blood test, would certainly have negative impact.

Furthermore, are you watching your sugar and sodium intake?

Lastly, how about your water intake?

i would eat 2xbanana,3-4cup milk, 1serving raisins, yogurt. im assuming this is what caused my elevated result?
my sodium is pretty low, i try to keep it under 2kmg a day
i drink 1 gal of water everyday

Cholesterol levels can fluctuate rapidly based on diet. If you continue the diet we discussed, you shouldn't have any issues.

I'd increase to 2000-2500 with the regular.

OK, so based on your stats and goals,I have TWO possible diet plans to start with.

The first is this one:

http://forums.d2jsp.org/topic.php?t=21269614&f=60&p=406743805
3,000 calorie diet w/ 40/40/20 macros

This is geared more towards you building muscle, and less towards fat loss. You consume 3K calories every day. You work out 5 days a week, using a strength program, found here:

http://forums.d2jsp.org/topic.php?t=21269614&f=60&p=345300636
5x5 plan

You can GRADUALLY lose fat with this plan and diet...but in no way is this going to be considered a cut.

The second diet is a bit more tapered, with 2K calories on days you do not exercise, and 2.5K calories on days you do. The workout routine is less intense than the 5x5 mentioned above, mostly because you will be on a greater caloric deficit.

http://forums.d2jsp.org/topic.php?t=21269614&f=60&p=458001812
5 day Split w/ Freeweights + 2,500/2,000 cal diet plan

I recommend you try the 5x5 and 3K cal plan FIRST, and if you are not losing as much fat as you'd like, skip to the second plan.

Your friend should start with the 3,000 cal diet mentioned above with the 5x5 plan. If he does not notice sufficient gains, he will need to increase his diet substantially. After using the 5x5 + 3K calories diet above for 4 weeks, he should re-evaluate. If he has not made satisfactory gains, this is the food plan he will need:

http://forums.d2jsp.org/topic.php?t=21269614&f=60&p=382849091
Bulking diet approx 4,500 calories

Good luck!

Hey man it's me again. It's day 4 today and I haven't quit yet, so i'm going to buy the protein.
Is there anything specific I should be looking for? Thanks.

Hey, sorry this is a looong answer, i'll throw you 1,500 fg

Umm a lot of questions about the specifics of the keto diet

14 days no carbs to start, what day of the week is best to start on?

Sample meal.plans for weekdays and carb ups?

What shouls my workout look like/what days should i lift? (Full workout plan would be awesome)

I dont have time to go to the gym twice a day, just once in the morning. So crdio post workout? HIIT ofc, or just on off days?

Implementing ECA stack, will i still need preworkout?

Protein shakes ok in the morning/night/ post workout?

Hey there,

1. You need 14 days of ZERO carbs and a lot of exercise to get yourself deep into ketosis, the 15th day shall be your first carb day. I would start on a Thursday, so this way your first carb day would be on a Friday, which really kicks off your weekend for you.

2.

3.

I would make sure to work out at least 5 days a week (6 days preferred), with a two-muscle split each day.

Example:

Mon - Chest/Bis
Tues - Back/Tris
Weds - Shoulders/Abs/Traps
Thurs - Quads/Hams/Calves
Friday - Chest/Bis/Tris
Saturday - Back/Shoulders/Legs
Sun - OFF

You should be doing at least 30 sets total, split between the muscle groups. You should use a set/rep scheme of 12/10/10/8/8/6, going up in weight with each set. You can also substitute a breakdown set, which would be 12/10/10/8, then on the 4th set of 8 reps, cut the weight in half, continue until failure.

As far as exercises go, stick to what you like best. Exercises you really want to try to do are:

Bench Press, Squats, Lunges, Deadlifts, and Overhead Press. Other exercises can be anything you want.

Here's a few sample that may help:

4.

Your PWO cardio should be HIIT for approximately 30-45 minutes.

5.

ECA Stack is sufficient

6.

You can have protein shake as needed, but I would recommended no more than 3x per day for a total of approximately 120g protein. PWO shake is a must. Also, i would recommend BCAA's before/during exercise (around 5g pr-workout, and 2g every 45 mins during)
