Yes you can. There is absolutely no need to split any high calorie item into smaller meals on a bulking cycle. Some people, yourself included, abide by the IF training philosophy, which may or may not work for some. However, the bottom line is that an excess amount of calories in one sitting will certainly not generate mass fat gain. It will, however, disrupt your natural metabolic function, if you respond better to frequent smaller feeding throughout the day. Generally, on a bulk, if you are in need of ramping up calories, particularly if you are a hardgainer, large quantities of cals/macros in one meal are actually beneficial for anabolism.

I personally have seen better results with 4-6 meals per day, in order to meet my macros and stay feeling consistently full but also anabolic. I've met some people who do much better with 1-2 large meals a day, and maybe 1-2 shakes or snacks. Either way, however, a giant bulking meal from time to time won't do anything negative.

pls explain bolded. how is bigger/smaller meals translate to anabolism?

have been doing this as instructed and while it was rough getting used to, i am following it. However you stated large calves has mostly to do with long term weight endurance. Would you recommend using like a weighted vest or strap weights around my thighs etc to walk around with during the day? Or would it put too much stress on my joints.

I would not advise that. Instead, you have to just concentrate on hitting calves hard and frequently.

Weighted vests, backpacks, and so forth, are likely to cause back, hip, and joint problems.

Why is GAT Jet Fuel your preferred fat burner?

Good blend, no harmful additives, relatively inexpensive, and overall good results from using it. It's also a reliable company and the capsules have been proven to contain the listed ingredients.

The excess cals/macros taken in are not immediately expelled as waste. As a result, especially with slower digesting items, such as complex carbs, red meat, and so forth - you are going to continue to feed the body for extended periods of time which in turn can hinder catabolism. Of course, blood sugar and insulin levels need to be considered, as well as activity level, in order to determine ideal circumstances for anabolism.

The benefits are that you can provide help to someone in need, and also get paid for your plasma.

The side-effects and downsides are potentially quite harmful. Donating once or twice has a VERY low risk of any issues. However, long term donation (several times a year or more), has potential side effects of the following (in order of least serious to most serious)

Dehydration
Headache
Nausea
Weakness/Dizziness
Damaged/Hardened Veins
Weakened Immune System (reduced immunoglobulin)
Severe Depression (unexplained mental side effect)
Hepatitis/HIV (from unsterilized needles)

My overall advice? Pick a reputable clinic, and donate a couple times a year.

I have decided that I will start working out again. Nothing too serious, just ~4 times a week. I am 6' 165lbs right now, I would like to try to get my weight to around ~195 +/- few lbs. I have always have had a problem gaining weight as I have super high metabolism rate. What is the best way of gaining lean mass? I never really got into supplements or anything along those lines; as I know they are not really regulated very well by the FDA.

Do you take any supplements or protein shakes? If so, what brands would you recommend?

Well, there's a few things you will require. First of all, a solid diet, with proper calories/macros for your goals, activity level, and metabolism. You'll also need a good workout plan that you stick to, as well as supplements and general training guidelines.

To start you off, a post-workout protein shake would always be a good idea. Look into Optimum Nutrition Pro Complex Natural. It's one of the best products out there right now.

As far as other supplements go, there are tons - however, the barebones would be a solid multivitamin (NOW! Adam) and the aforementioned protein shake.

Assuming you want to make the gains you are talking about:

3,000 calorie diet w/ 40/40/20 macros

http://forums.d2jsp.org/topic.php?t=21269614&f=60&p=345300636
5x5 plan

However, if you notice that you are not making enough gains after 2-3 weeks of running that plan, you will need to increase the calories by around 500, and continue to increase every few weeks if necessary.

I'm completely unfamiliar with anything even close to that.

Are you trolling? Or is this a real thing?

If it's real, I would HIGHLY advise against it for obvious reasons.

If you are talking about the "lipo light" system and other such alternative lipo treatments, don't waste your time, as those are complete scams.

The closest thing would be "smart lipo" which is a clinical treatment, that is much less invasive than regular liposuction, which uses a concentrated laser to liquify fat and remove it from a given area. This particular process actually has pretty positive feedback, and has shown significant advances over the years.
