No. You won't experience any atrophy if you discontinue creatine. You will, however, lose excess water saturation in the muscles brought on by the creatine. Your "fullness" may be reduced, but that is it. Also the rate at which you make muscular gains will also be reduced.

I need a new workout plan to increase strength and size.

I am 5'5" 159 lbs, about 13% BF.

Bench: 225 x 4
Squat: 405 x 3
Dead Lift: 365 x 3

I want to get to 9% BF and weigh about 165 lbs

I have been on a program for about 6 months now, I need some change because it seems I have plateued

5x5 plan

After you achieve your strength and size goals, a cutting routine will be required to hit 9%

No. There is no long term negative effects from taking creatine. However, it's good to cycle off things periodically. I personally take 1-2 weeks off of creatine every 4-6 months.

Are there studies that show the benefits of utilizing the heightened protein synthesis levels by working out muscles twice a week? Or are you really missing out on that much by only training a muscle every 5-7 days instead of every 3-4 days?

I am cutting right now. I was at 167 lbs at about 20% BF.

I want to get down to 9% before I start putting on mass again.

This is a topic of great debate. However, in my time of studying, training, and researching, I've found that this question is answered primarily by genetics.

Some people will respond extremely well to increased volume of training per muscle group, per week. IE: training chest/bis 3x per week sees exponentially larger gains than 1x per week.

Other individuals will see a loss of strength and size from doing this.

Obviously, eating/sleeping, supplementation, and other factors play a role besides genetics. However, two evenly matched subjects, with different genetics, will see different results from the same plan.

The best bet here is to try different things and see how your body responds. A good rule of thumb, however, is that the body requires at least 24-48 hours to FULLY repair itself after muscle tearing achieved from a proper workout (hypertrophy or strength).

What cutting diet are you using at the moment? 90% of cutting comes from the diet. I can give you a plan as well, but let's start with the eating situation.
