my concern for this is starting to raise. i recently started a new job where im standing 30 hours a week and have to wear new shoes.

after about 1 week of this my big toe seems to be permanently numb? i can stll move my toe and everything but it just has a numb feeling that wont go away for about 3 days now. is this normal?

also for cutting ive been making

chicken/egg/bacon burritos with some salsa.

for my tortilla i use a whole grain fiber tortilla, has about 13g carbs total, with 7g of fiber. thats 6g net carbs, its perfect for cutting (but not keto)?

Do you need to add BCAA separately, or will you get enough from Protein Powders?

You get enough from protein powder, however, if you are cutting or fasting, it's a good idea to take them post-workout.

(I've read through your different stuff before, a link is always appreciated... but my simple question is to do with meal frequency and your recommendation on it specifically to do with meal timing & how many meals in a day)

I want to cut hard this summer (so I can justify a hard bulk). I'm wondering what you'd recommend as an eating plan. I calculated my calorie requirements, and I'm aiming for 2000-2500 calories per day. I feel like timing for my meals really matters... I'm really weak during the day sometimes and I don't know why (I could be eating just fine a lot of the time)... so I figure I need to be strict with my diet while I cut.

Would it be best to eat every 3 hours, aim for 5-6 meals in a day, and ration out my calories that way? Keep it about 50% protein / 35% carb / 15% fat???

I would try to do 40/25/35 on a cut, or at least 35/30/35. Carbs a much less important on a cut than protein and fat.

Moving along to the frequency. It really doesn't matter as long as you are feeding at least 3 times per day. Some people prefer to fast for 16-20 hours a day, and feed for the balance. Others prefer to be more traditional, like myself, and have 5-6 meals a day consistently. Either way, whichever works better for you is the correct choice here. Eating frequently, vs eating infrequently will not increase/decrease fat losses if cals/macros remain the same.

Hey mate, basically i just started working out and I was just wondering what protein you suggest for starters, atm i am using Gold Standard's WPI to cut. I'm afraid i'll get too big and round / fat, I weigh 75 kilos and I think i'm a decent size so i thought i should just start out by cutting and using WPI instead of mass gainer although some where along the line I may choose to use it. I still have abit of BF and thats the main reason why i won't take mass gainer as i want to slim down just alittle more. I'm not FAT or anything i just have those excess BF that i shouldn't as I've been slacking off. I eat alot of carb'd food which is another reason why i won't take mass gainer but what do you think ? (Should i take mass gainer anyway? I don't want to put on anymore weight lol but at the same time i wan't to gain a decent size around my arms and so but i feel the WPI will only just slow down my progress as I've been training everyday so far for the past month - yeah i know , noob mentality lol) And pre-workout's, i hear they're okay for the first few weeks or month or two but after that, you won't feel anything due to your tolerance levels. The pre work outs i'm talking about are Jack3d or C4. Any ideas or suggestions would be appreciated, thanks.

1. Try optimum nutrition pro complex natural or NOW! Whey isolate

2. Avoid gainer for your circumstances.

3. Pre-workout supplements that I recommend are as follows:: GAT Jet Fuel, or Black Coffee. Other pre-workouts are loaded with artificial sweeteners, colors, etc.

You are cutting off circulation to the toe from overly tight shoes. You need to buy a new pair of those that are either custom fit for you, or larger in size. In addition, you should also purchase an insole.

The tortilla has 13g carbs? Are you sure? what is the total calories of the tortilla? Do you have a link to it online? And no, it would not be keto appropriate, especially with the salsa.

Question:

20 years old, 5'10 always been skinny and cant put on wait.

Best way to actually chisel out my 6 back instead of it simply being there because I'm so skinny.
I want to build some pecks as well, so I'm not so scrawny.

A workout good for that, wouldn't mind doing a workout everyday

thats the thing though, my shoes are half a size too big? meaning i can drop a ton on the end of my shoe and it'd hit nothing. i believe i do need a insole though, could that be the reason itself?

this is the best i could find, the picture it has is exactly what mine looks like

http://www.walmart.com/ip/Santa-Fe-Tortilla-Company-Carb-Chopper-Wheat-Tortillas-18-oz/10323775

100 calories
8g protein
13g carbs
~ 7g dietary fiber

im not exactly using a keto diet, just a low carb diet, been using it for chicken quesdillas/ burritos
