Hey raynor , I kno u prolly helpd me with this b4, but I forgot, and ive been slackin lately.

But.. I recently got alot of food and im ready to cut.

Im 5 10 and  about 203 atm, and want to get down to 185 or so.

I also think Im gonna try IF , fasting method. (you can give your thoughts on this if you want)

How much calories should I be looking at to cut?

il be working out 5 day split, with maybe some cardio, il walk at the very least for "cardio"

just want to know how much calories and what my diet should look like, Ty

Here is what I recommend:

sample cutting diet (non-keto) 2,000 cals

Cutting Workout Routine (6 day all equipment)

Abs Workout Routine

With regard to IF, you can do it....but I don't recommend more than a 16 hour fast and 8 hour feed if you are trying to cut. The only time I would even consider telling someone it's OK to use IF is if they are cutting down and don't care much in regard to strength.

hello raynor,

is this

Furthermore, 60g of protein in one consumption is too much unless you weigh 300 lbs. 20% of your bodyweight in pounds to grams of protein is the ideal number to hit per meal. Example - 200 lb man would need 40 grams of protein every 2-3 hours for a total of 240 - 320 grams of protein per day with roughly 40 grams per meal.  Any more than this will likely be wasted by the body (or stored as fat) whereas less than this can lead to catabolism of muscle (BAD BAD BAD!).

still valid information?

Hahaha...a passion of mine is to help people. I'm still here because I am able to reach many people in relatively little time. I will hopefully be here for more years to come =)

Yes. You generally don't want any more than 20-25% of your bodyweight in grams of protein per meal, unless you need more total calories and don't feel like eating a carb or additional fat.

Too much protein beyond what your body uses will stress the kidneys and is not recommended.

So early in the mornings when I first wake up, I will hear weird noises in my throat. Kinda the same as the noise you hear when swallowing. Not a gulp, but more so a longer drawn out sound. 5 seconds long on average I guess. It happens worse when I eat before I go to bed. I try to sleep on my left side, because this seems to calm it. But what exactly causes this to happen? Is it a health concern?

Hey Raynor,

I'm looking for a meal plan / workout routine to lose body fat, and just to work towards a leaner/cut body.

Right now, i'm at home and do not have access to a gym or anything like that until school comes around, so any excercises i could do at home or outside would be appreciated!

I'm currently 5' 7 at 150 pounds. To be honest, i have never lifted or done any weight training of the sort, but i have done martial arts for about 4 years until i no longer had the time for it about a year or two ago.

I've been looking at some of your posts and the keto diet / cutting excercises looked appealing, but if they could be adjusted for me, then that would be great!

Also, an important note i guess, I work almost every day from 5 to around 11 as a server at a local restaurant, so any advice on what i could be doing during that time would help as well!

Thanks again!

Just got my GAT Jet fuel in the mail. Very excited, and noticed that it even suggests focus, improved libido, and all sorts of goodies. I just took two in the morning and i'm curious how this'll go. I'll be sure you keep you informed.

How are your experiences with Jet fuel? Maybe if you tell me some awesome effects, i'll get a nice placebo effect
It seems as though it is recommended that a user take a pill pretty often but no more than 6 pills per day.

EDIT: Also I have a question about setting up macros. I want to do a 40/40/20 ratio going, and i will do 2100 calories. how do i determine how many TOTAL grams of carbs/protein/fats I should be getting during the day??
