Hey,
So I am aware that eating healthy and right after lifts is one of the most important things to do! However, being 21 and in college. I suck at it. Really bad.
I will just go to the gym, play basketball for an hr (great cardio) then go lift. But afterwards, god only knows what I will eat. I sometimes dont even eat because im too lazy to cook. Im 6'5 210lbs pretty lean.
I dont care if i weigh 195 or go back up to 220-225. I just want to drop in body fat and get my muscles a little bigger. Im still an athlete so I focus on workouts that benefit my sport.
But basically, what do you suggest? Any guides to eating right as a weightlifter? Any things to especially avoid? This is a big topic, but anything helps.
Easiest thing you can do is take a CYTOGAINER shake immediately after working out. It's a meal replacement so it's fast, cheap, and very good for you PWO. It's got a great balance of protein/fats/carbs, as well as creatine and a few other extras. You can mix the shake with water or milk, add fruit and/or peanut butter, etc.
