Just wanted to say thanks for this thread Ray, i dont ask many questions, but i read it often and ive learned tons from it.

This is a great teaching tool in general, beyond the individual person help that you provide.

Hey SKC,

One month ago, I was playing ultimate frisbee and when I tried to push someone, I got hurt right under the knee. About 2-3 cm under my knee.

When I'm doing leg exercices like leg press or lunges, I got a bit of swelling in my knee. It is uncomfortable walking for 1-2 minutes then it goes away. Furthermore, when I put pression on the area I got hurt, it is sensitive.

I don't think one of my ligament is torn, but perhaps sprain? I can easily walk on it and play sports/run, it only happens when I do leg exercice.

What should I do?

Could be kidney related, or alternatively your body simply does not tolerate alcohol anymore. I personally do not advise anyone to drink alcohol as it is.

However if you really enjoy it, I would stop the kre alkalyn. After 7-10 days, try alcohol again in a small amount. If you still feel sick it is not the kre-alk. I would then advise that you kick the alcohol and listen to your body.

i have no weights just 1 cinder block i stole and am about to start benching it while i'm laying down in bed i have no idea how much it weighs i think like 35 pounds
and i have started doing some cardio kickboxer workouts i have found on my cable on demand

i would like your thoughts in general please if u need anything else please ask as i really would like to fit in my jeans again

e: also idk if it matters i have kinda bad knees like i can't even kneel on them for more then 2 minutes without them hurting. it's not cause the weight lol they have hurt since i was in elementary school it was hard for me to even get down like a catcher and stand back up but i mean i can run/walk just fine on them i just can't kneel or get down like a catcher oh and i can't even do a legit squat my knees just start to give out




OK. You need a huge makeover with your meal plan. Also you need a better workout routine than bench pressing a 35 lb concrete cinder block on your bed.

Depends as they work different parts of the tricep.

Here is the order that I personally like them - doesn't mean that one is better than the other, just my own personal preference.

7. Behind the Head tricep extension

First of all, STOP doing leg exercises and playing sports for about 7-10 days.

I want you to keep the area mildly stretched, but avoid any type of muscular exertion from the legs.

Ice the area for 20 minutes on and 40 minutes off 4 times a day for 7-10 days.

Take ibuprofen 1-2x per day but ONLY if you feel it hurting you. If it does not hurt and doesn't appear swollen, you don't need the ibuprofen.

Elevate the leg when you sleep (prop it up with a pillow if possible)

After 7-10 days if it isn't better you need to see a doctor and get an xray, ultrasound, or even a ctscan
