Have you ever bought sups's off eeebay i found these and they're almost 1/3 cheaper than the website i normally buy them off

http://www.eeebay.co.uk/itm/Sci-Fit-KRE-ALKALYN-Creatine-240-caps-/110758209755?pt=UK%5FHealth%5FBeauty%5FVitamins%5FSupplements&hash=item19c9b428db

Also another quick one i notice some come with Beta-Alanine/Gluta-Lyn as a stack, could you tell me what these are for??

Thnaks

Theres an extra "e" in eebay. But I fixed it.

Anyway, I don't buy supps off eebay, proceed with caution.

Glutalyn is buffered glutamine, used mostly in recovery
Beta A is a pre-workout supp mostly for energy and vasodialation

I don't like it, Ive mentioned this before and had some people get into a pissing match with me in the sticky.

I prefer standard cutting and bulking routines. I do not like the intermittent fasting approach. I feel that it negates too much anabolism and strength gains for most people.

If you want to use it, go ahead....but myself and other health professionals....as well as professional bodybuilders would not recommend it.

Aight, was just looking for your opinion on here since you are the only trainer I know here.
a lot of health professionals does seem to like it and support it though.

I am disappoint Cseitz.

Lots of people have had great success with it, including me.

But Raynor writes it off as a "placebo effect" lmao. Then advocates a ketogenic diet like it's jesus. Lyle Mcdonald would be disappoint.

Lean gains works, short term fasting and "fasted" training is great. It has the science.....and experience to back it up. Whenever Raynor decides to wake up to it and stop giving bad information about that one subject, then it'll be a good day.

I've had enough of your mouth little man. I've warned you plenty of times to stop with this incessant BS - but you obviously lack the common sense, basic knowledge, and perhaps decent reasonability to shut up and mind your manners. You and your 6 months of experience, along with your godlike broscience are exactly what's wrong with most forums including bb and apparently jsp.

Get out of here and go troll the leangains forums. No one here is interested in hearing your unsubstantiated opinions or general idiocy.

I can hear the ban hammer coming soon with all the warnings I've given you.

He won't go into depth as to why IFing is bad because he has no proof. He'll speculate upon it with his own word and tell you he's certified. I've never seen him provide any evidence or any reliable support for IFing being bad.

I was fat when I started lifting and dieting. I went to IF and I wasn't nearly as hungry as opposed to when I would eat 6 meals/day. Explain, sir.

It really comes down to preference.

ENOUGH.

This sticky is for myself and 7ds to answer questions.

That is it.

There is no discussions here about IF, or anyone who will challenge our advice. If you don't like it, take yourselves somewhere else.

Go get yourself a B.A. in nutrition, and M.D., multiple training certs, some reputable lifts and achievements, and about 12 more years of experience and we'll talk.

I have previously humored the IF cults on here with plenty of scientific reasoning as to why IF is inferior to standard bulking/cutting, and was met with typical "lmao" replies and general trolling.

You idiots don't realize how zealous you are over this fasting fad BS.

The reason you used to be so damn fat when you lifted is because you have no self-control and no basic knowledge of how to diet. You also probably have no idea how to structure a proper routine to maximize gains and minimize fat loss. The reason you aren't hungry now is because when fasting your body goes into starvation mode and stops feeling hunger. This is a defense mechanism typical of our bodies for survival.

I never said IF was completely useless, but compared to standard bulking/cut with keto on cut and clean dieting on a bulk, IF does not come close.

As previously stated, there will be NO MORE DISCUSSION of this here. This is the FINAL WARNING. Anyone else coming up to challenge my expertise openly in the sticky will be removed.

Thank you for your cooperation.

Raynor,

Could you help me out with repetition / set layout. I'm switching out from Burns's version of the German 10x10, and I'm looking for some sources on reading up on sets/reps.

I'm doing a 5-day split on a 7-day cycle doing chest, back, rest, shoulders traps, arms, legs, rest (and repeat)

It's been a number of months now since I've done my old routines and just can't quite remember the rep/set schemes. As well as, in fact, the resting between sets schemes.

Here's what you want.

Simply change the days to suit you....keep the workout routines the same

Went a little too far down on a shoulder press and my right shoulder muscle is giving me a little pain.

Without the medication "Do not work out" what can I do? Not working out is not an option.

What do you mean not working out isn't an option?

If you have an injury, and you keep working out, you can and most likely will make it worse.

This can end up leading to serious injuries that can require surgery to fix, or might even be permanent.

Can you explain by what a "little pain" means, and in what way you feel the pain and so forth? I need more information

Haha very sorry for the vagueness. Was trying to write this in a rush :)

Basically there is no pain that is constant, it is only when I fully extend my right arm.
(When I extend upwards in a typical shoulder press motion) Does the pain actually start. It seems to be more a soreness then a throbbing, possibly a stretch issue...

Wow you're a douche lmao. Resorting to name calling, classy.

6 months....no...6 months of experience with intermittent fasting. Not 6 months experience with lifting/nutrition.

The rest of your post is irony at its finest.

Lets see the ban hammer. If you're going to cry to mods because someone is challenging you on an issue, then so be it. You won't get much lower than that.

I've mentioned this before several times...

this intermittent fasting craze is garbage.

If you enjoy losing a good deal of muscle mass as well as fat...go ahead and do intermittent fasting.

If you enjoy maintaing as much muscle as possible while losing fat...keto is the way to go.

If you enjoy maintaing some muscle but also losing fat...a traditional cutting diet is the way to go.

The basic biology behind intermittent fasting is horrible. Essentially you are starving your body in normal glycogen drive, so when all glycogen stores are depleted the body obtains energy from broken down peptides (muscle) and lipids (fat). Your body does not automatically burn only fat...it burns both. If you understand how difficult it is to gain solid muscle...it makes no sense to lose so much of your hard earned lean mass so that you can rapidly lose fat as well.

Garbage is generally pretty useless so....yeah...you pretty much said it was useless.

Another funny comparison is that one mans garbage is another mans treasure.

Also would like to go back to this, glycogen stores will not be depleted in 16 hours. You will not be breaking into muscle stores for days...especially on a program like lean gains.
