Is it the 85% Of your max ( One rep) Or the 85% of the set of 8-10 you just did. Thats what confuses me. Because your 8-10 set should is ike 60% of your 1rm right?
Doing 85% Means youll be about 6-8 before failure?

my friend benches 300 and wants to get it to 400
he would like to know a good workout but he still wants to focus with the rest of his body along with chest

what kinds of supplements and or exercises can one do to strengthen bone / joints ? like my hands for instance are sore and in boxing when i punch it hurts so i need a way to strengthen them up ? maybe some stretching or what? any types of supp / foods that helps aid in body imflamation or what evER?

Bcaa, Protein, Creatine

Try Universal Animal Stack (take 1 packet a day) - this will help with joints.

As far as with other things...you build stronger bones from causing trauma to them, and as a result they will calcify. So basically keep using them as much as possible and over time you will notice the pain/soreness less and less.
