I'm thinking of maybe splitting my workout up into 2 i.e weight train in the morning before work I have say 1hr 15mins to weigh train and the after work go do my cardio/swimming for an hour or some HIIT this would mean I'm not standing around wasting time getting on equipment as the gym is relatively empty when it opens at 6:30am in the morning, it would however mean me having my breakfast at say 6am and lifting 30 mins later, would that be a problem? Also is there any disadvantage/advantage to doing it this way? It's mainly trying to use what time I have in the best way plus if I've got something to do after work im not missing gym time or having to rush in the evening and it gets busy (gym shuts @ 10pm) or the opposite way round cardio/swimming in the morning and lift in the evening? Although i would prefer to lift on the morning when gym is quiet but not essential.

Thanks for any info.

That would be totally fine. However instead of breakfast 30 mins before lifting, have a 30-40g protein shake instead. Then 30 mins after lifting, have breakfast.

hey raynor, will l arginine give me a thicker stronger man muscle?

lol technically arginine+ornithine increases your vascularity through vasodialation - on theoretically yes.

Anything that improves blood circulation and increases vasodialiation would be beneficial.

loading phase for this creatine stilll the same?
also you told me these supplements to use
orange triad
jet fuel
protein^
creatine^
are there any to add

No loading phase needed for kre alkalyn.

As far as other supplements, I would recommend NOW! D-3 (5,000 iu - 1 cap per day) and NOW! Vitamin C-1000 (3-4 caps a day) You can also add NOW! Super Omega 3-6-9 and take 2 with every meal for EFA's

Hey man I'm gonna be looking for a nice mass/strength routine for after my shows. I wanna build some more thick dense muscle on my frame :)

Let me know what good plans you can come up with for me. I'll be following the bulking diet you gave me, after my two shows.
Maybe like a nice 12-16 week program? Then I'll probably do a nice hypertrophy/shaping routine after, like I have been doing.

Are you interested in doing the standard 5x5 plan? Have you have any experience with this? There is also a 5x3 (5 sets of 3 reps) plan as well for advanced lifters looking to gain density and strength (you would be included in that).

If you want a 5 day per week, single muscle group per day, pure strength and density routine, the 5x5 would be perfect. The 5x3 would also be good, but would focus more on strength than density because of less total volume (also less exercises on 5x3 because of how fatigued 3rm gets)

Inner chest not showing.

Basically I have a pretty noticeable gap between my chest and was wondering how to get my inner chest to show up better. A trainer at my gym told me to use a closer bench grip, but I would think that just involves more tris.

Correct. Close-grip bench just works tris more.

To activate the inner chest more, try dumbbell flies but with a twist:

Do a regular incline dumbbell fly, but as you bring the weights close together, turn your wrists so that your fingers face you. You will feel that this twist starts activating the inner chest.

In addition you can try dumbbell pullovers and pec deck.

Some people genetically do not have pectorals that touch....and even with conscious exercise changes it still won't come together the way you want.

Yeah I think the 5x5 would be pretty good for my goals.
I've worked out and done 5x5 lifts before but never actually as a routine so not completely sure how to approach it and what kind of lifts to do.
And would you recommend I do rack deads during the routine instead of full deads? (since I don't want a bigger waist, whether it's true or w/e)

So yeah, 5 day a week, single muscle group should work for me. As long as I get everything in. My biceps are what need the most improvement, that's for damn sure!

Here is my standard 5x5 plan that I give out. You being a more advanced lifter, you can make changes as necessary. Example, if you want to replace one exercise with something similar, go for it. If you want to add additional biceps to help them out, go for it.

5x5 plan

Furthermore, do regular straight-leg deadlifts. The whole increasing your waist through deadlifts is only about as much increasing your weight as doing situps. You aren't using your abs predominantly to lift the weight - if you are you're doing it wrong. HOWEVER it does thicken your lower back which in turn can make your waist appear larger. Proceed accordingly.

Looks great to me! :)
Can't wait to start this. My strength should skyrocket once I get into the swing of things again. I was a small/chubby 198 when I competed in powerlifting, I got a lot more size to build strength off of now :D
How long do you recommend I do this routine for? And I'll get into the whole supplement taking in a couple weeks.

I'll probably post a workout log on here so you can see how I progress as well. :)
With vids too ofc :D
Ahhh I'm getting excited. Can't wait for these shows to be over. Youngstown bound in about a half hour to check in to my hotel :D
