What I did a lot when I worked within sport psychology is have people set up different goals. It should contain goals that are both easy and within reach, but also long term goals that might seem borderline unrealistic.

Combine a practice of physical training, mental training and face some stressors that you can control (like sauna, cold plunge etc etc). P

Make sure you build up coping mechanisms for when things you can't control affect you.
