i mostly listen to female narrators of fantasy/scifi on audible. i dont listen to the epics much (LOTR, hobbit, etc) if that's what you're into. a few of those recommendations here:
http://forums.d2jsp.org/topic.php?t=71352729&f=266a few of my recs:
Off to Be the Wizard - fantastic nerdy book about a boy who discovers "powers" and goes back to medieval england to be a wizard
Blood Wager - fun read, but not super amazing; newly-created cookie baking vampire who fights werewolves
Divergent - i thought book 1 needed a better ending and didnt like book 3, but a lot of others do.
Hunger Games
Monster Hunter - lots of action; accountant finds out boss is a werewolf, throws him out the window, and joins a team to fight vampires. but it's pro-gun and anti-gov, dunno how you feel about that
Steelheart - action; supervillains take over the country with no superheroes to fight them. evil-superman takes over chicago, and narrator joins a team of humans to take him down
11/22/1963 - guy finds a door that leads him to 1958 (could be off a year), and decides to stay in the past and save kennedy
Ender's Game - boy trains to lead an army to kill aliens
Harry Potter (Jim Dale's narration only) - great narrator. used a different voice for every single character. set a world record and won awards for it.
i heard Dresden Files and Game of Thrones are a good series, but i havent read it. also The Strain (narrated by ron pearlman) about zombies.

Do you listen to these while you workout??? how does it affect your pump??
i listen to audio books during cardio and at work. not recommended when you're lifting weights because you have to count the reps and focus on form, so it's harder to pay attention to a book.
