My nephew bought with his mother's credit card £500 worth of forum gold and gambled all of them in less than one hour in that section. He is 12 years old!!!

It is illegal to allow gambling with currency worth real money on your forum, you should have a special license for this kind of stuff. Specially since we are talking about a general forum where you don't have to be over 18 years old and there is no age verification.

His mother will make a refund for the fg purchase and she will go to see a solicitor and see what legal action can be taken against the company/owner of this forum.

This forum should not tolerate gambling, specially since there is no minimum age required to join the forum.
In her name, i demand to close that subforum section or just make sure gambling is illegal and you will get banned if you gamble. That's at least you can do, before she will enforce the laws upon you.

to continue from previous topic where we had a discussion and eventually it was closed to shut me down.
http://forums.d2jsp.org/topic.php?t=76327174&f=34

Just letting you know that closing my topic will not shut me down, and ignoring a problem won't make it go away. We had a family discussion and we are really serious of pursuing this matter to justice, specially since we know we have a high chance of success. We have enough financial resources to pay for a solicitor and court expenses, since we know the loser will have to pay for all AND much more in the end.

Please make sure this situation is forwarded to the owner of this site, i am not looking to settle a deal or anything, we will let the court decide what is legal and what is not. What i need is him to acknowledge his problem and deal with it in good faith by making gambling with forum gold illegal.

If he didn't gamble it, but still stole her card and purchased it to buy other stuff on here would you still be complaining and blaming the site?

Look, it seems you do not understand the border between imoral and illegal. When you purchase the forum gold, you are send dirrectly to paypal / credit card payment. There is no real veryfication to see who is the owner, you can even pay with stolen or found cards... this is only one problem.
The other problem is allowing gambling on a site where there is no minimum age required.
And the most important problem is that d2jsp sites have no licence

to make you ship the irrelevant part, i will quote you this:

This website does not allow anyone to gamble with real money. D2jsp is not affiliated with any gambling institution/organization.

There is already a precedent in the Nepenthez case where he was fined huge ammounts for his gamble site where he was selling virtual coins that could be traded for fifa coins. Which is exactly what jsp is doing.

United Kingdom

The Gambling regulator in the United Kingdom, the UK Gambling Commission has declared that any operator wishing to provide gambling using virtual items has to take a license from the commission. It also brought about legal proceedings against two men who were charged with promoting gambling on an illegal website through allowing the purchase of virtual coins which could then be converted to real coins on a video game called FIFA. The court passed an order on this case on 6 February, 2017 and imposed fines of GBP 174,000 and GBP 91,000 on the two men.

The Gambling Commission has however also clarified that if a website wishes to offer e-sports betting to UK residents, then they needed a betting license and the exact type of license will be determined by the authorities.
The statements by the UK Gambling Commission make UK one of the probable jurisdictions where Skin Gambling operators could seek for licenses.

• Steps towards a UK Online Gambling License

UK requires that all operators who provide gambling or betting services targeted at UK citizens obtain a license from the UK Gambling Commission. The UK provides a large variety of license for online gambling and betting operations. Out of the wide variety of licenses, the ‘Remote general betting (standard) operating licences’ which have three sub-types within it may be considered as it also includes licenses for virtual games within the second sub-type. The minimum annual fee for this subtype is £2,933 for less than £0.5 million and increases depending on the gross gaming yield to a maximum of £63,671 for £500 million or higher. Other license types such as ‘Remote Casino’ may also be suitable for some applicants. Applications for multiple licenses are possible and discounts may be offered in the license fee for such cases.

The actual application will require:

(a) Proof of identity of the applicant
(b) Proof of identity for the business
(c) Documents showing the structure of the business
(d) Disclosure and Barring Service form or police record
(e) Payment of non-refundable application fee

The application will be evaluated on the basis of Identity and ownership, finances, integrity, Competence and Criminality and decisions are normally provided within 16 weeks. In case of a positive decision, you will have to pay the annual fee within 30 days of receipt of the license.
