Many people disagree with bitcoins policies and impact to nature lately, and they turn their assets towards ethereum.
Idk and idgaf.
I don't have any btc, but I will have around 50 eth by 2025 by not spending a cent anymore so I'm fine I guess lol

It sure use a lot of energy, most people that agree with nature and energy policy are simply relaying what they heard or read from MSM, they aren't capable of debating the subject otherwise that it is boiling ocean or its the electricity consumption of a nation. Anyone that actually take the time and study the data related to that will see that Bitcoin is a cut throat business and it incentivize the use of clean energy, it has been debated and debunked hundreds of time by very brilliant people.

It's about cost vs reward. Bitcoin and crypto in general aren't yet set to solve any significant problem that I know of, and they are adding significantly to the energy usage of the human race. If they don't ever evolve to a point of solving a significant problem that energy is basically wasted on crunching worthless numbers.

And I'm contributing by mining, so I hope they come up with a reason to keep doing it lol.

Beef is currently an important source of protein. It is not the most optimal source, but it does provide a huge nutritional source.

In my view crypto has not solved a big problem in a sub-optimal way, because it hasn't solved any big problems yet. If in 50 years our whole financial system is running on blockchain then it will definitely have been worth the energy expenditure, but we're not there yet.

it has the potential to make a revolutionary switch in the world. at the moment it's tricky but it could have a bright future.

beef is useless. insert a cheat code in a console that deletes all cows from the world and you wouldn't feel a difference. it's not necessary, and it's top reason for climate change

Like I said, beef is a suboptimal solution to a real problem. Crypto is a costly problem that isn't yet offering solutions.
