Apple quietly up 16% this month...

Looking at SPY chart, it feels toppy as fuck. Look at the 5 year chart... like it's just screaming for some sort of pull back. Not going to reallocate anything but I'm skeptical of adding at these levels. Our current index pe on the SPY is above it's 5 and 10 year averages.

I'm starting to trim back my margin portions but wont trim the non-margin portion of my portfolio.

I need a list of suppliers that feed the service industry. Poultry, beef, various other food supplies, etc. There's significant pent-up money here in Canada. Canadians are in fact the wealthiest they have ever been, and that money is going to surge into the service industry.

Yeah I think commodity exposure makes a ton of sense for the foreseeable future.

I've positioned my portfolio with food/industrial metals/energy exposure.

NIO stock
Chinese electric cars. Working at the moment on the car that should by the end of 2022 cost around 40k, be fully charged in 15 minutes and go for up to 600km on a single charge.
They're calling the owner "Chinese Elon Musk".
Good price atm, 40 USD per stock

Have they solved the battery problem? Mainly the Lithium (non iron phosphate) failure to 700 degree C fire, and the low temperature charging and cold climate problems? Whoever solves the battery gonna be the best EV stock.

Didn't go that deep, didn't even know they had an issue.
I know company still doesn't have shops in west, but they have been seen in Europe already in multiple countries.

Whoever solves it first will dominate, but I guess once others manage to fix it afterwards, it's still gonna be successful company unless if existing ones step up their game

Either way they are closer to the cell manufacturers. Should def check out the nail penetration tests of the lithium cells though. Good designs can add protections around the cells, but if the base cell component bursts into extreme flames upon puncture, gonna be a hard sell. Tesla already getting a lot of shit for theirs. Most EV have the Lithium Ion or Lithium nimh.

Edit: Should have held my NIO from years ago, sold early on when it first hit $11 and looked like a scam stock.

Apple broke its ceiling resistance levels recently and held quite nicely. Next ceiling and will be $150. Just kept loading up on the downward/sideways movements despite record earnings + positive results.

RIP chinese tech though lol. baba still has upside potential. rip to those who bought into DIDI.
