These godderm Chinese stocks

Dude idk wtf is going on. I thought these regulatory concerns would blow over by now.

Baba tencent and Bidu have been such a drag on my portfolio last few months.

I still think long term they’re great investments though.

Was only a matter of time. They simply have too much in demand intellectual property.

Between Star Wars and Marvel they’re sitting on a gold mine.

Hopefully they don't collapse those mines. Recent titles have been horrible. But despite that sub numbers run high, and box office number speak for themselves, it's not my opinion of what a good movie is driving their top line.

I started watching Loki, looks good so far. Mandalorian is very good, at least in my opinion. They could churn out generic Marvel movies few times a year and do very well for years to come even if they are pretty shallow. I like some of their shows but the movies both the latest star wars and most marvel to me are just too predictable and boring. But long term as they build their arsenal of quality streaming movies & shows their plus platform will do well imo, and i'm sure that means pricing power.

I also think there's a windfall of demand for their parks that probably wont show up in this latest quarter ER. Like Europe & Asia, those places are still in lockdowns with limited travel, I think once those people get the greenlight, their parks should be flooded with foreigners that have been delaying a vacation for 2+ years and accumulated savings. For some reason those places tend to be magnets for Chinese tourists lol.

Apple quietly up 16% this month...

Looking at SPY chart, it feels toppy as fuck. Look at the 5 year chart... like it's just screaming for some sort of pull back. Not going to reallocate anything but I'm skeptical of adding at these levels. Our current index pe on the SPY is above it's 5 and 10 year averages.
