lots of dice rolls, i agree

what's the current percentage of people that even have more than €1 in crypto? 5% of world's population?
I think 5-10 years from now, whoever plays it smart now could easily be independent and live work-free life

Yup that's what im hoping to do lol.

have $ going into long hold positions constantly, and am playing with a small chunk trying to time the market as well.

most people i talk to still have 2016 mentality on BTC "its a scam" "too volitile" "isnt that fake money" etc.

fuck most people.
I have enough trouble with myself having no bitcoins at all cos I'm never satisfied with it's price and I keep waiting for god knows what. If I worried about what other people have to say, I'd be doing factory 8-5 job until I'm 65.
I'm buying only Ethereums cos I lay my hopes in them, and some occasional Chainlinks just for fun.

Seeing this dogecoin is funny too, took €80 worth of it now just to see how it goes for meme.

1 month and 2 month charts can be used to get a fairly low stress buy in point, but i know the feeling. fucking crazy to try and pick a spot on 1 day or 1 week charts.

im also about that much into DOGE lol. might as well see where it pumps too.

Was my original plan, and then I realized I came too late and btc never was under €20k which always sounded too absurd to purchase.
Was waiting for a drop, and I keep waiting for a drop, until I found myself in a position that I have 0 BTC and price is €35k

So my portfolio is like 90% ethereum and 10% in shitters

ETH 2.0 news drops and/or halving news drops and that might turn into a real nice portfolio. ETH still could be massive with some advancement of adoption.

I understand the value of blockchain but I am having a hard time understanding the value of coins. Can someone shed light on why BTC or ETH are justified in their current pricing? Bitcoin will never be used at a point-of-sale; too slow. Is it just a first-mover advantage added with the goodwill of the name/branding, or perhaps long-term prospects that it will be a stable coin?

The only value I derive from BTC or ETH is how anonymous it is in nature. But from a value perspective, Bitcoin is a technology that will/has already been surpassed. & what is stopping Visa, Mastercard, JPM, etc. from creating a stable coin for their own network to process transactions in a fraction of a second?

Visa's most recennt crypto patent looks like this:

You're right about bitcoin, but it's the only one that'll hold any value once a spendable crypto is in circulation because it's the first.
