In theory, you should enter the number of pieces you have in the subject line. You don't need to do that in the topic title

i don't want to disclose how many i have available at all.

first of all, the number available is always fluctuating -- i am selling and farming all day.

second of all, where does it say i have to?

I didn't tell you that you had to do it. But in theory you should do it. How you create a topic is your own decision

Yes.

Saying you’ve got 10 in stock while you have tons more is of course alright, yes.

As soon as you got an update on your stock you should also update your topic. But yes this would be alright.
