I saw some people have star after name how you get this and what you have more than people with out.

It's cosmetic. Just something to have outside of the FG. Also purchasing FG gives some perks https://forums.d2jsp.org/topic.php?t=74114203

In my opinion the best perks are the auto-upload to imgur through JSP as shown here https://forums.d2jsp.org/topic.php?t=83903674 and the increased PM box size.

It should automatically display the highest star available after your donation processes.
