Hey all -- I have been playing diablo 2 off and on since it's inception. Somewhere back there I was a member of the forums but I cannot for the life of me recall my credentials and it's quite likely I no longer have access to the e-mail address I used because back then, gmail didn't exist and I used whatever crappy e-mail was given to me by my isp.

With that said, I have no trade history and I'm finding it difficult to sell a high-end item I found. Do any of your trading vets have any advice to someone who intends on contributing to the forums / offering items for trade? I've started looking at ISO's to see if I can possibly fill any demand to help build a reputation -- like many things, I imagine it will just take time. But I feel like I'm sitting with a popsicle in the sun.

Any insight / tips would be greatly appreciated.

With any reputation, it takes time to build a good one.

Be active, follow the rules, and keep trading items. Feel free to use a mediator whenever you please if you feel like that is needed.

The first tip I may offer you is actually attempt an account recovery here: https://forums.d2jsp.org/recovery.php and provide as many information as possible such as your Paypal if you've purchased FG in the past, photo ID, star purchases, possible e-mails, location/IP where you've registered your account - anything you can think of and recall.

Fyi giving money to JSP doesn't make you seem more trustworthy to users. Stars mean nothing.

I wouldn't go as far to say star upgrades mean nothing, star upgrades and orbs I would compare to cosmetic items and skins of a game, although they don't give you "stats boosts" they do grant you the ability to customize your user title and profile which of course is entirely optional.
