Hi all. Faced a small problem. I created a topic in the sales section of the forum [URL]https://forums.d2jsp.org/topic.php?t=97274038&f=271&p=628398270#p628398270[/URL]. Users came to the topic and wrote their thoughts about the fact that I am a scammer. I asked in a private message to one of them to delete such a post but in response they called me an "account". Apparently, users with a lot of messages and forum gold can write whatever they want in the trading forums, and newbies like me need to prove to everyone that I'm not a fake instead of trading? Is this the case or am I wrong and I just need to swallow my resentment and accept that I'm a newbie with 7 posts and every "great trader" will wipe their feet on me in mine! trade topics?

First and foremost, welcome to JSP, everyone was new to the forums and most of us have similar experiences when starting out. Try to ignore user's that provide negative attitude, there are trolls everywhere and the staff does a good job taming them. If they are PMing you, simply block them, if they are harassing you via public posts, simply report the post and move on. It will be dealt with, don't let this discourage you and always request a mediator.

Most scammers come from fresh new accounts, as a result, there is a bias against brand new accounts that people associate with scammers.

As for me (I did quote a comment on that thread) it was purely situational. I know I'm nowhere near an "old" account and I don't post often, it was just the join date being around the new-found duping discovery or whatever you wanna call it and the certain item being sold. I hope you have a good time here and do apologize if it came across as unwelcoming.

You will find some people behave poorly on this site, as is true in real life. Just stay above the drama and do your thing

Your best bet is block trolls here https://forums.d2jsp.org/pm.php?c=14 or by clicking the block button in the top right of the PM box and reporting their spam. Remember replying to spam is considered spam and might lead to topic closure. Just be a good trader and use the free mediation service when you can.

Thanks to everyone who posted on the thread. I'm not afraid of toxicity in a relationship, I just hate that people who go to the trading thread will see someone with a lot of posts and forum gold calling me a scammer and believe him. It is not right.

You may have noticed that there is a report button locate in the top-right side of every post window, if you encounter any form of harassment or spam in your topics you may report the post by clicking that button and a member of staff will review your reports and take appropriate action if needed.

As many pointed out, newer accounts are viewed more risky due to the fact that scammers tend to create fresh accounts frequently. However, that attitude will quickly go away in time.
Stay active, always use a mediator, and remember that the 2/3 rule is completely made up and you do not need to follow it. Using a mediator is by far the safest and most reliable option for trading.
Additionally, though it is not required, to add a little bit more credibility to your account, I would invest some time into it by getting a signature/avatar as well as providing some background info.
These are small things; however, they might indicate that you are interested in staying here for the long term. Report all off-topic posts as spam and do not reply to them yourself.
