I am in the dispute with a trader atm, we are both in game. Can I request a mediator?

If you created the Trade Topic, you would have to request one from your Topic. If the other user is the creator, he would have to request a Mediator.

Don't leave without taking screenshots of the full chat log also

I did, we are both still in game. Is it possible to have a mod join us to resolve this issue?

Mediators do not join games for trades unless it's a legacy trade which you'll have to request for as well, the person who created the trade topic will have to request for a mediator,
