I registered on d2jsp with a specific email address.

I have now purchased forum gold, via paypal.
My paypal is not on the same email address. It has zero association to it.

I received the forum gold purchase confirmation to the email associated with my paypal account, NOT to the correct email associated with my d2jsp account.

Why did this happen?

Please note that your first purchase will not be instant. Your payment will need to be manually validated for your first purchase, but after that you will be able to buy FG instantly and automatically at any point in the future by using the Purchase Gold page.

Thanks for the reply and info, but unfortunately this does not clarify why I received comms from d2jsp to my email for my paypal, instead of the email I used to register with d2jsp.

Because that's how it works. It's not supposed to go to the email used on your account.
