Isn't that supposed to be private? It's like having your bank account statement made public.

The amount of FG a user has is public for several reasons.

1 of the many reasons is found here in the Rules: https://forums.d2jsp.org/info.php?p=6

Quote
Do not offer fg/items you don't have.

2nd of many reasons is to prevent scams (although all Trades are recommended be done via a Mediator) but the display of FG can help prevent Scams. This helps other users "judge" another users "experience & trustworthiness".

Displaying FG is not the same as displaying your bank account as your FG logs are NOT publicly displayed.

Displaying fg promotes many scams such as impersonation scam of rich members. If no one knew they were rich no one would impersonate them.

And I got ADHD please remind me which rule explains this?

Regarding "Do not offer fg/items you don't have."

Preventing overdraft seems like a lame excuse for a vendor to know my account balance...

You don't even disclose your account balance to your wife! (especially not maybe lol)

Many reasons buddy, you could have a your buddies just drive the prices up on an item and they don't even have any fg but you wouldn't know so if you really wanted it you could continue to bid vs a user who could be fg'less

I still don't get it. They are doing that as we speak but they need fg. You can't display someone's will to buy an item lol.

Someone logical?
