I'll add since you're new that there's a reasonable amount of trust baked into the system. You should know that you can always use a mediator (as per the above post's link) and feel 100% confident in it; however, mediators take time and not all buyers/sellers would be willing to wait for a mediator on a <10fg trade.
If you have something with serious value, don't trade without a mediator but you can start by trading low value items and just giving them your item (in a private game with a password) and expecting they'll send you FG in return. Older accounts with more FG and no warning % are expected to uphold trust in the system. Screenshots as you're going through a trade help with scam reports but realistically if it's something you value highly, use a mediator.
