Greetings! Hopefully this is the correct space.

The clan that I am currently in, Hustlin' Nerds, has rather inactive members/leadership. If one would be interested, and wanted to keep the clan itself going, how would one go about taking over part of the clan?

I know that in WoW, if the leader/guild master has been offline for 90+ days or something, you're able to petition and request that position. Does something like this exist here?

Mind you, I'm hoping that those folks come back. Certainly not looking to boot everyone out of the clan, I want to invite a few friends that have recently joined JSP to the clan and cannot with my current permissions.

Hi there, having played WoW myself back in the day I know exactly what you're talking about. However here on d2jsp, something like this doesn't exist. We value the guild (or as you call it "clan") ownership and if your guild leader shall return to the site at some point in the future, it's only fair that they're still the guild leader as they were when they left.

So having said that, there's not a whole lot you can do in your current guild if you don't have the right permissions. You can however leave your current guild and either join another (more active) one, buy one that is currently for sale or create one yourself from scratch.

If you'd like more information on either of those options, you're welcome to DM me or simply post again.

For this to happen; you’ll need to be approved access to add/remove members from the guild. (This is an action the guild owner can do) To add onto this; the guild admin does not expire meaning they will exist into their position with no time limit.

Unfortunately this is not an option. The guild owner will remain the guild owner with no time limit or able to “petition” out of its seat.

The guild owner will need to grant you access to this feature.

Here’s a list of FAQs:

Roger. I appreciate the input. I'd rather not leave the clan honestly. I'd like to just invite my friends and hope that someday those folks return. This is unlikely though. Sad to say.

Thank you for the response!

Your clan leader and rank #2 in the clan have left discord info in their profiles, might want to try and contact them there.

I hate you for pointing out what I should have obviously looked at/tried. I will attempt this tonight. Thank you!
