Since a couple of weeks ago, when I search in a forum the results are not sorted from the newest thread or post to the latest.

I see older threads first then some new, then some old again. And on the next pages I see very new threads/posts again.

It was sorted "very nice" in the past.
Is there a setting I must do or I messed up some forum settings? Help pls?

log out, clear your browser cookies and log in again. should help

there was a change back in February -- bumped posts are now bumped in search as well
(to prevent dead threads that aren't active anymore from showing up early on in searches)

To piggy back from this:

Valid bumps to trade topics will now also bump them in the search results! (Feb 4 2022)
This only applies to bumps made after this update went live
At present, they will show in the first page(s), but not necessarily sorted to the top
